Extra tracks after getting the Rail Yard

You collect glass, metal, plastic etc to hand in to the Rail Yard, on that track quest. You can still collect bells & whistles from neighbour visits, possums (which look like rats to me lol) and the Lisa recycling plant (if you have it).

    So we should technically build the railyard after the event is over since it is not on a timer/event schedule ?

    You'll get the Rail Yard after you collect the correct number of bells & whistles, I guess it wouldn't be a good tactic *not* placing it unless you can still continue to make extra tracks on the bells & whistles task. I don't remember if you need to place the Rail Yard to be able to do that.

    No way I m getting 3000 bells or 4000 after that with only possums and visits, my bonus hit tomorrow (5000) so either way I lose 1000 or 2000 so
    i take a break onthat part, will do the blueprint dough, time enough to collect the tracks I will need no rush.

    Gonna profit on the rest time time to charge my battery for Halloween later :mrgreen:

    Disappointed we'll have to continue collecting recycled material to create tracks. It's one thing to devote that much time and characters to collecting crafting materials during this event but there's a huge overlap between the characters used for Monorail, Springfield Heights and the ones who always seem to get used in other events.

    I got the Railyard last night and had the same question, "Store the Railyard and go for 'bonus tracks' or just do both simultaneously?"

    I decided to do both simultaneously. From what I know;
    - It takes 30,000 blueprints, via Railyard, to get 6 pieces of track
    - It takes 33,000 blueprints, via "bonus tracks", to get 6 pieces of track.

    So, doing the Railyard tasks and better a couple bonus tracks seems like the way to go, for me anyways.

    No, the two are separate. You get tracks (and donuts) from the Railyard by trading in recycled goods for blueprints. This is now a permanent feature.

    For the remainder of the event, you get "bonus tracks" by collecting Bells and Whistles from squishing opossums and dumping garbage.

    Lol. I panicked when I got the railyard and saw the project board icon vanish. Yikes.
    t took me about an hour to figure out that the project board appears by tapping on the railyard building itself! Whew.

    Is there a cap on how many possums we get per terminal after the railyard? My terminals all say I should be getting 16, but I only get 14 now that I have the railyard. I was getting 16 yesterday, just as I was supposed to. Are we limited now?

    Of the 16 pieces from this weeks rail yard I only got 3 straight pieces. Would be great if we could choose the ones we need.

    Wish I knew that before today. I would've gotten the rail yard a few days ago instead of today in my second town
