Rail yard not advancing

  I tried this fix, unfortunately a few seconds after I click on friends my game crashes. I can't advance my monorail or visit friends
  EA please fix! I'm level 57 with 80+ donuts and won't restart.
  
  
  Update: going to krustyland fixed this for me. Still can't visit neighbors though.
