Have you noticed it takes 14 Hours to do visits now?

Prev1
I hate how the connection is infrequent. You're in the middle of visiting your neighbors and the app crashes. It sometimes takes me 4-6 attempts to visit everybody.

It only (crash) takes me about (crash) an hour and (crash) a half (crash) to do my (crash) neighbor visits.

Actually I'm only crashing on my iPad. I don't have that problem on my Android device (well, occasionally, but just occasionally). On the other hand I'm getting the molasses load time on my Android tablet, while my iPad loads at a decent speed (decent considering that I'm on satellite internet anyway). I can run through 2 or 3 neighbors on my iPad in the time it takes to load 1 on my Galaxy Tab.

I thought they changed the timers on friends visits. It really needs to reset every 20 hours so that we can accommodate all the crashes and lags. I try to do my visits the same time every night but after a week im up later and later each night.

When I saw the tittle of this thread I thought they changed the cool-down time to 14 hours. I was a little disappointing when I found out the OP was speaking figuratively.

We're all here for you as you attempt to power through this emotional time. Counselors are standing by. It helps me sometimes to pretend I'm British because they have that saying about staying calm then then.... they keep changing the second part, which is helpful because then they can mold the saying to whatever's relevant at the time. Here it might be Stay Calm and Tap Hard.

A 14hr timer reset between neighbor visits would be awesome!!

Sorry to hear about the extreme lag and crashes. Mine is a little slower since the monorail event started with maybe one crash during the visits. Still not having as much trouble as I've had at times in the past.

I'd rather have it reset at a set time every day, like midnight server time for example. Then I could do a few, come back later and do a few more, come back and do a few more...

And not have to remember "Oh, it's time to do a few more now - if i don't do them NOW I can't do them at the same time tomorrow..."

There's another game I play (made by EA) where you have 24 hours starting at midnight to do the daily bonus. That would work fine for Tapped Out, too.

For me it is between 30 and 40 minutes. I never wait for everything to collect before moving to the next one. The money will make it into your pocket regardless. It really depends on whether or not your neighbors are clearing handshakes.

I wish they would ditch the stupid 24 hour timer and reset it every day, like they do with daily tasks during events. Then you could pace yourself, and not have neighbor visiting time shifting closer to the end of the day when you want to sleep.

I managed three whole Friend visits before crashing yesterday. That's a record high. I don't try again in the same day, the frustration level is too high. I just hope I can do more during the Halloween event.

Apologies, but I think my Neighbors understand.

It's definitely slower recently but I'd say that it's only about an extra 10 minutes longer than before on my galaxy s5.

i was spending 1.5 hours early hours of this morning to do my rounds. I don't mind the time but it did not score me any donuts.. so maybe I would do that less often.. i have got much better things to do =)

Keep in mind it takes longer to load each new town because we are all at higher levels with more stuff in our towns every month.

With a bunch of level 20 neighbors instead of 4yr vet max levelers you may go through quicker.
All my designs look unfinished because i can't place as many plants, streetlights, and fences as i would like. PLEASE REMOVE THE LIMIT, EA!

Even better instead of a relative 24 hours a fix day. Daily visits could reset at X time each day. And you can do your daily actions any time within that fixed 24 hours. So lets say the reset time is midnight. If one wanted to one could do friend actions a 10pm today to continue this example. And then do tomorrows actions one second after midnight. And then will have to wait until the next reset at midnight. And so to continue to the 3rd day that could be at 2pm. The limit of once every 24 hours is still there but the flexibility is that we can do it any time within the 24 hours each day.

The load screen loads new towns at the speed a crock pot cooks. Then the town scrolls like a glacier rolls, with similar lag in steering control and braking. So I've started mixing in other things while doing friend visits such as writing rough drafts and washing dishes and maintaining lists of pornstars and organizing the garage. Can we get some techno-lube applied to these towns so they slide smoother onto the screen? Also, where's Boobarella at?
So what you're saying is this game is like driving the Space Station at a Nascar race? Or watching a snail give birth to quintuplets? Oh, Booberella is on her usual 24hr. carpet installing task.

You can drive a Space Station? Cool! Where do I sign up?

So yeah, visiting friends is slower now for sure. Some towns load in a few seconds, others take at least 30 seconds, and that's for any size town (a friend's lvl 5 or so town is a big exception :)).

EA, please test more before releasing? Pretty please? With either sugar or your choice or artificial sweetener on top? :)

So I'm not the only one. The weird thing is that it never seems to happen at the same point and it only happens once each time. :?
