EA ... Family share, or gift option please!!

Yes a thousand times yes!!! I have excess loot my family doesn't have. I would love to share resources or items earned during events. Most of time they sit in my storage... I would love this feature

People would abuse it too much.
We used to have the lemon tree as an item that could go cross-account and it was meant to be taken just like in the episode and that had some rather unintended side effects as neighbors being really nasty to each other. Some people
would friend each other, steal the tree, and quickly unfriend each other before it can be taken back.
Imagine people hacking accounts to gift something to someone (or giving the item legitimately and then crying that someone else was playing their game such as a bro or a sis).
Another scenario is this...suppose someone has something you want and you set up a deal outside the game where you gave someone x dollars for that item and then after they got the money, they complained to ea that someone else did it.
Theres tooo many ways this could be abused and it could result in bad feelings going around the community.
Concur. It's a nice idea, but proposes too many problems to it, and snowyriver32 outlined those pretty well.

but still you'd get widespread cash movement in the forms of "sharing" items (then selling the item for the cash) so that accounts could further farm XP for more doughnuts...
and even if you "limited" it to accounts among friends/family, someone could just "join" the group, complete the transaction and then leave the group...
kind of defeats the object of the game!
Not really as it is a family and friend based game.
Cash/Items that can be sold - no
Family link only...
Because if there is one thing EA does well, it's manage accounts.
I have two accounts for ea. One for Simpson's and one for my Xbox live so it is differential.
ETA: Think the list of items you are able to send would have to be short. I wouldn't want to be spammed by a neighbour sending me all their unwanted brown fences or event prizes
I don't see anyone being disrespectful.
