s'more count question

I'm in the 600s, but to unlock Pirate Kang my progress is 88/1600.

So I'm right there with you. :-/

I believe that the number you see on your main screen is your total so far. The number you see in the prizes screen is your progress towards that particular prize, which resets to zero each time you earn a prize.

I came here to ask exactly this...

    Am i missing something?

EDIT: What's the point in having a running total if the prize screen has it reset to zero for each prize without mentioning this?

Believe HappyGamer73 is spot on, the count on the main screen is the total number that you have had and the one in the prize screen is the amount you have towards the prize as each time you get a prize the counter in the prize section resets to zero.

Yeah I imagine it would be when you rush to get everything within hours.. You leave yourself with nothing left to do..

Event sucks in general. Awful prizes as well. And I got everything within 15 minutes.

The addicts site says s'mores should be cumulative and if ours resets to zero after each prize we should contact ea.

    Can anyone confirm this?

I have a total of 840 but to obtain the third prize I'm showing I only have 260 toward the goal.

I've got a similar thing going on, Happy. If it's supposed to be cumulative, the 5th prize is probably out of reach fo us. Not sure of anything yet. It kind of looks to me like they just changed the display style from cumulative to an easier to read version showing what you need for the next prize. The 1620 for Kang's pirate skin seems in line with what I'd expect if things were still "on track."

I'm pretty sure Armpit is right. Addicts has Kang's skin listed at 2160, in my game it shows the counter at 1620. The 2nd prize was 540, and 540 + 1620 = 2160. Why they decided to do it like that though.... couldn't tell you

I, too, have totals resetting. Is this a widespread problem they need to patch?

Same problem here. My total says 690, my Kang skin counter says 150/1620.

It actually is correct, being that the first prize cost 540, but it is very confusing.

I have the same issue, it says I have 827 towards the Kang skin but have a total of 1600+ smores? Could someone (LPN?) confirm whether it should be resetting after each prize or if it should be cumulative? Thanks :)

I was concerned as well but the count resetting is correct. For kangs skin I'm currently showing 200/1600. But the total number of smores needed for kangs skin is 2,000 plus. So basically when the counter resets its showing how many more smores you need to reach the next prize. Your cumulative s'mores do not actually reset its just showing you how many more you need.

    Hope this helps

    This is from the site....

I see many of you concerned on your S’mores counts in your game. I just wanted to clarify something for you… it is AS INTENDED. ;)

Basically the game is showing you ONLY the countdown for that particular item you are earning for while in the Act 1 Prizes. NOT the total amount you have collected to date. I think this is a way of letting you know just how close you are to gettting that particular prize. The total amount will still show on your S’mores counter in the Lower Left Corner in the main game screen, but when in the actual Act 1 Prize Screen, just the amount for the current item you are on will show.
