For those of you who have the gate...

Not having reached that point yet, I can only guess, but I would say that there's still the shopkeepers tasks for donuts as well as distributing blobs to neighbours and clearing out your town so neighbours can drop blobs on you. Plus monorail tracks for donuts. Still lots to do, but no real stress (other than things being reeaaalllllly slow!).

5. Monorail.
Hoarding resources and still doing neighbor visits and dropping blobs for more resources
However, afterward:
I will continue to collect crafting supplies, awaiting the next round of crafting prizes.
I have been using non-Halloween participants to continue working at the Recycling Depot to earn Monorail track pieces.
I am not working on Springfield Heights anymore until/unless EA allows the Condo, Business Center, Parkade to change skins like the Radioactive Man statue.
Outside of the event and the kids I'll also pull my adults off the 24 hour tasks I've been using to keep them out of the way and change them back to 4 hours so I can bring in money faster. I leveled up much faster than I was able to save up for a building, buy it, and then wait for it to be finished so that right now I'm at level 53 or so, but story wise I'm back somewhere in the 40's working on the 300K for the strip club and Nelson's mom.
Maybe I'll replace some tennis courts with wailing walls if not.
For now
- upgrading campfire
- working on SH
- daily tasks
I do like that this event is less of a grind though. But please EA, new content please! Spending and buying things is part of the fun too!
ETA: not that it's likely my wishlist will be seen - but it's rigellian shrubs, the drive in, maude, a gremalien npc, frink's dog, and NEW CONTENT THAT INCLUDES A CHARACTER
Have it yesterday and now doing this
Same thing here man. Trying to get as many Spooky Groves as I can before this event ends.
There certainly are some players here who admit to having a fair amount of spare time. Some may choose to play the game on their breaks for a few minutes or replace an activity done in spare time with the game.
I personally have a heavy load, but a flexible schedule and often end up working in evenings and weekends. I have to meet deadlines, doesn't matter when I work as I have few meetings. It helps me think to take breaks doing something repetitive or routine. I don't watch TV much if at all and playing this game replaces TV if you will. (oops just realized that might come across as snarky, can't think of a better example, bad coincidence your industry is film, sorry - it's not intended)
Just saying it can be done otherwise. Plus it's a great, fun way to take a break and relieve some stress on the hard days.
