How you guys level up to 20+ so fast? I'm only on 10 and I play practically every few hours. I also have most of the premium character kids in my SF doing the camp fire task :?:
Make sure you collect all the nightmares that are already in your town FIRST, before collecting the ones from the campfire. If you click the campfire first thing, some of the ones that were already in your town will disappear. This set me back a bit at first.
Right now I'm at the point where it only takes me two stories to level up, so once every 8 hours basically.

And there is another tip:
Nightmares in the bank change to whatever story is actually being told, at least to an extent.
So, it is wise to change the story immediately after leveling up the camp. By doing this some "old nightmares" in the bank change to the new ones, that are needed for the new story / level up.
I think I'm the lowest here but mine is 9. In the first act, I was more concerned with getting the final prize that I didn't care too much about the campfire. But I'm leveling now and going fast.
I'm mainly continuing to upgrade for the bramble hedges and have 80 right now. When I have 100 I think I'll probably stop upgrading and just focus on specific crafting material. It's a grind to keep upgrading and I'm out of cycle with most of my neighbors so I don't get much from visits.

The following sort of thing is happening to several people, and just happened to me again.
This morning I was at level 23, 11/200 bunnies, yet I had the campfire generating zombies. Martin is telling the story. I tapped some of the zombies and it leveled me up to 24. After syncing, it then switched to 0/200 skeletons! Yet the campfire is still set to generate zombies. I'm not complaining!
I'm at level 30 and I've switched to all Brains all the time for now. I'll probably gain a couple of levels because of friend visits and Portal to nowhere.
