How do I get the Frink deal?

I find the fact that this offer is only given to those who do not have any of these items already to be absurd. My husband who is level 55 received the offer, but I at 58 who, has saved donuts and bought the Aztec did not. I wanted the theatre since I began playing two years ago and now it seems I am being punished for spending money? Please explain how that makes sense. I was so disappointed that I didn't even set my people last night. I thought I would be over it this morning, but I'm not. This is such a poor business decision. No one in my family wants to spend any money ever again.

How is it legal to put something on sale and not offer it to everyone?
I'm not happy as well, I wanted Frink for my feeder town, but had saved up and bought Otto, so no deal for me.

I think this is a case of EA just focusing the promotion to players that had not used any donuts to buy anything. Is it a good strategy? I don't think so as people do save up donuts from level ups and events, etc and decide to purchase a premium item.

Here is hoping they open this offer up at a later date for all players.

In the meantime, I'm going to grind through most of my cash and level up and get more donuts before my Collider expires.

Anyone who got the deal, do you have to open the boxes immediately or do they pop into your inventory so you can open them at your leisure?

If you have ANY of this buildings
Duff Brewery, Frink's lab, School Bus, Aztec Theatre, Try-N-Save, Duff Stadium
    the deal WILL NOT APPEAR

    WHY though?

I should imagine its to encourage freenium players to spend. I can't see any other reason?

I don't know how this is in other countries, but where I'm from (Norway) this is the most common way to lure new customers; If you subscribe to this newspaper - get three weeks free, if you change to this cell phone provider, - get an iPhone for lower price, if you change to this broadband operator - get double speed the first two months, and so on. You don't get the same deal if you're already a paying customer. You probably got another good deal on something when you first decided to pay/become a customer, though. Maybe that's why I'm not outraged by not getting this deal..? Or maybe it's just because it can't be bought from donuts anyway, som I don't really find the offer that interresting.

This deal is crap! I have never bought donuts before. Ive saved all my freebie ones, to get the school bus, so now Im punished and not able to get his deal? This is really irritating. My husband got the deal yesterday, and he has spent plenty on donuts before. He just didn't have the specific items, so was able to get the deal.
If they plan on doing something like this, they should really figure out a better way of doing it. Im so incredibly bummed right now.

For the first time, I was ready to open my purse and buy this Bundle. But as I already own the Frink's lab, it is not possible. A bit pathetic EA... So I will go on as a Freemium. And keep my bucks.

I'm in the same boat as many others. I've never spent a dime on this game in two years, but have acquired enough donuts to buy things like Otto's bus and Frink's lab. I would have definitely spent money for the first time for this great deal, but instead I'll remain freemium.

That said, I know what they're doing. They just don't have a very accurate way of separating those who are willing to spend big bucks for content versus those who need to be given a really good deal to make them spend.

I spoke to EA via chat and yes, even having a single premium from the list given will keep you from the offer dropping.

I was calm and polite, but I made it clear with EA that this was unacceptable. Even if I had ALL the premiums from the list (which I don't) the offer would still be worth it alone for the extra donuts and XP boost.

They have passed on my complaint to the sales team, who are the ones who made that decision. I would advise as many people here to do the same. If enough people complain, we may convince them to make the offer open for everyone.

Make it clear you would spend money on this offer, that ought to make them take notice ;)

Well, I can. It is to graciously slap all the other losers pumping money into this game, right in their faces.

Thank you, in the name of all the loser tappers such as me, who ever paid for anything in this game. I'll try and do the same, and see if anyone cares. It's good to see people are doing sth :)

if you saved enough donuts for the lab and haven't bought one of them, you would be ineligible for the deal.

why exactly? those people won't purchase anything, now more than ever.

i think EA lets return that deal. :)
