Monster at the temple

You need to tap him 10 times while he is on the tower.

I defeated him there earlier (with no opportunity to click " do now" beforehand) and it didn't register. It'll be Thursday night before I can log into the game before he appears on the temple due to timing.

I'm really hoping clicking "do now" beforehand works. :?

I have tapped him at the temple until it goes down into the water but after that when the mission is to tap the small monsters I never can tap enough before the big monster returns.

Or did I misunderstand the mission? Doesn't it matter how many small monsters I click.
Will he always return to the campfire?

He always returns ... doesnt matter how many star spawn you kill. So you have 8 hours dead time when you need to kill him at the campfire.

HINT: When star spawn are coming out kill them then when you have none left go to your neighbours and just visit 4-6 friends until you get message that your town is full again then go back and kill more. you can kill a lot this way, collecting many wailing walls

Yeah I just finished fighting M'nthter at the sunken temple AND NOTHING HAPPENED. :x WHAT the HECK!??? What do we do???

It feels really pointless to tap the star spawn because I have already bought all the things and don't need the things we get from tapping them.

This 3d act is not as fun as the previous 2

But do you get that option? When the kids have defeated him by the fire, the screen turns red and you must fight him by the temple. Is there an option to go to "do now" in between?

I have the same problem.

Edit: If you don't complete the kids fighting (don't tap thumbs), but go to "do now" directly, maybe that will autocomplete the kids, and move you to the temple where you can fight him? I will try that (in 7 hours...).

To complete Tuesday's Shopkeeper's Challenge "Defeat M'nthser at the Temple" you have to do it after you have defeated him at the Campfire.

The cycle goes like this:
1. Defeat M'nthster at the campfire and he jumps to the Sunken Temple
2. Tap M'nthster 10 times and the Temple sinks for 12 hours (longer really with the broken timer)
3. M'nthster pops back up at the Sunken Temple and you tap him 10 more times
Repeat.

The monster gets defeated after you have completed the Campfire and it returns to the Sunken Temple.

Some people have reported it doesn't register unless you Open the Shopkeepers Challenges and click "Do it" regardless if the monster is free.

Confirmed.

He jumped from the campfire (and I was able to select "do it" beforehand), after I defeated him then the challenge completed.
