Totally worth it for the Speed up a Crop task. Who cares about a 12 or 24 hour task for her? I just use the 4 hour Speed up a Crop as many times a day as possible to cut time off my Corn. And who knows when it will come in super handy for an Event again?
Corn only earns 36k profit though, which at lvl 58 is peanuts. How often does it get collected using witch marge?
The Profit will depend on your % bonus, higher your bonus the more you will earn obviously lol
Witch Marge reducing the initial time of the corn by 4hrs and then after that he shortens it less not to sure by what tho, last time i used Marge to reduce the time i think it was something like 20mins every 4hrs but i could be wrong, either way the skin is worth the donuts
If you don't already have the cauldron I would skip it. It's like buying a new car without seats. Who would want those when driving?
There's no quest line or anything, and I cannot figure out why it says "Improved Halloween Jobs." As a freemium player you would probably be happier with a new character, which this event sadly lacks.
I'm freemium and splurged for her last year with the cauldron deal. To be honest I would have purchased her without the cauldron, love the speeding up crops task, the animations not bad either.
Ok so assuming witch marge cuts 4 hours each time from Actual Corn and not 20mins like was said above, and you did it 3 times a day, that would cut the total time in half to 45 days. So with my % bonus that's 97k profit every 45 days. In that same time, my wailing wall farm will earn 720k if I collect it just once per day.
So even in the best scenario witch marge doesnt seem worth it to me unless I'm missing something. And if what was said earlier is correct and spamming witch marge on corn will end up reducing it by 20min at a time, then it's a massive waste of donuts.
Tap it not spam it tap it slowly and it will work out. Your donuts are the lube of the game. Seriously I want a link knowing what herb jobs are. ?Is she trustworthy it
It's for added flavor, this witch. If you look at any of these premium items closely to see "is this one reeeeelly worth it?" the answer will usually be, "it doesn't seem like it is!" So pull the trigger and get this skin only if you were thrilled by the first mention of Witch Marge you ever heard, basically. If you respond to the character on a YES level. Don't do it for the corn. Corn is a bust. And nothing she does is Sooooooooo worth it. It has to already be worth it for you as a concept of having the witch in your town. But for that matter nothing Frink does is Soooooo worth it either. It's all about what you value. If your ambition was to get other more "essential" premium characters, and then this witch popped up, stick to that earlier goal that brings you closer to the YES feeling..
I got her last year, or whatever year it was she first came out, and I love her. But, I didn't do any math about her advantages or anything; it's just that that Simpson's Halloween episode, with Marge and her sisters as witches is one of my very faves of all time, so I jumped at the chance to just have Marge running around in her witch costume all the time. To be fair; I do have the cauldron, which I think may have come with her the first go-round? I don't remember. But I have the cauldron set up next to the BBQ pit, next to the Stone Temple table, so I often have merry makers at the table, while bbq and brew is being cooked, and it makes me giggle. So for me, the cost was worth it, but YMMV.
Edit to add: The corn field isn't worth it at high levels. Seriously, money is so not an issue at the top end of the game. I can't spend the stuff fast enough. I wish there were more bonus and content building available for in-game currency rather than doughnuts. Even if it were some crazy ratio like a million simbux per doughnut cost, I would be totally on board.

Lately It Occurs To Me... What A Long Strange Trip It’s Been.
It is one of the few things I bought with donuts. I was a freemium player until the 5.99 deal. I' m glad I bought it last year but I don't remember why I did. Most of the time, I have flying around with her broom.

If you did not buy it Witch Marge will not have a 12 or 24 hour task.

This is because it improveD Halloween jobs during act 2 when she earned double gummies. That's why it says improveD and not improveS
