New task is to squish skeletons, how do I even get skeletons now?

You can't spawn them at the campfire anymore and I'm not gonna buy one of those donut costing skeleton cars so how do I make them? The only way I can tell to make them is to make bart hunt nightmares but that takes 4 hours each time and only spawns 2 skeletons! At that rate it'll take 60 hours to squish the 30 skeletons required for the challenge! Also I tried looking in my friends towns but out of 50 friends none of them have skeletons, it's all star spawn or bunnies :(
It's not just Bart who can spawn skeletons, Database, Gino, Sherri and Terri can spawn them, the gate to nowhere does it as well.

You have 7 days to complete the task.

30 skeletons needed to complete the first task, but it's four skeletons per 4 hours. and it wasn't generating anything other than zombies and snakes before from the kids tasks. I find the current weekly challenges impossible to complete too

I'm 12 hours into the 30 Skeleton task, standard kids, Gateway to Nowhere, only premium, the Mausoleum (previous Halloween 8h 8 Skeletons) I'm 16/30 complete.

I think you are stressing too much about it.

Well, yeah, if you've got the mausoleum spawning 8 skeletons every 8 hours, then no wonder you've already got 16 skeletons.
For everyone who doesn't have a mausoleum spewing out skeletons, they're actually pretty hard to come by. Database is the only non-premium kid who produces them at the Brown House (if you are using the four kids who can fight M'nthster to do that job in order to produce apples).
I'm not pressing the panic button yet; I think it will be possible to get 30 skeletons squished over a week, but I understand why people are wondering about this.

Agree that this task is mjch more difficult the way act 3 plays now. Motivation for completing quest = 0.

Lookling at the wiki I think this week's challenge might still be doable - even if you just have Bart and no Gate nor Mausoleum.
The idea is to let Bart hunt as often as possible, trying to battle M'nthster with Martin, Milhouse and Lisa, only.
That should still usually take only 2x4 hours.
Let's say you manage to send Bart 4 to 5 times per day ( 8 to 10 skellies), therefore finishing the task during the fourth day.
Luckily the next 3 tasks are rather easy:
    Defeat M'nthster at temple / Squish star spawn ( x 10) / Hunt Nightmares (x 15)
Should be all doable until the end of day 5.
Last task is squishing zombies though. That's going to be a problem again - except if you buy the Squeaky Voiced Teen (30 donuts), which I recommend.

Another problem I have is that skeletons and bunnies are not spawning from brown house

Why do you need to use all 4 kids if you are doing 2 rounds of fighting anyway?

With 4 standard kids you clean off 8 tentacles on the first fight.

Sherri & Terri are not spawning 8 skeletons - I only got 4 total when I had them and another kid spawning skeletons - anyone else having this issue?

i have been having a ton of problems with the skeletons since we got to this act. I finally figured out the multiple brown house trick, but this morning the house with the skeletons produced noting. Absolutely nothing. This third act is extremely frustrating and not interesting in the first place. All I want from this act if one more tent which I need skeletons to get. So far the most reliable way is one of my friends hasn't played the third act and still has skeletons in his town. At 3 a day I will never make it.

This is a ploy to get you to either use your own donuts, or not have to give you 20 donuts for completing the weekly quest. I've already contacted corporate about this fraudulent behaviour. I suggest you all follow suit and maybe they'll get off their behinds and fix it. I wouldn't care but I've already sunk a few hundred bucks on this game. I want my money back because they are not providing the service they promised!

Do you know which of your Brown Houses spawns all the Kids Nightmares? It will be your primary/first built Brown House.

Find it and move to a location where you can see what is being produced.

You should have 4 or more Brown Houses, spread the load between the houses.

Store the IRS building, or keep your brown houses far enough away from each other so you can release 1 house at a time.

    Basically

    1. Go to your Primary/First Bought Brown House
    2. Clear nightmare task here
    3. Tap all the nightmares that spawn around it.
    4. Re task the kids back into the house.
    5. Go to a DIFFERENT brown house. Clear task here
    6. SCROLL back to your Primary Brown House. Your nightmares spawn here.
    7. Tap those nightmares.
    8. Re task the kids back into the house.
    9. Go to next Brown House

An so on depending how many houses you have.

Using this method plus I had the Mausoleum.

Day 1 task was completed in 22 hours.

So. For some reason Bart and Database have stopped spawning skeletons at the Brown House. All the other kids are still spawning zombies, bunnies and snakes. But no skeletons. I managed to get 12 with Bart and Database, but now it doesn't work anymore. It has happened TWICE in a row now, 8 hours wasted. Don't have other premium kids that spawn skeletons and not going to buy one just for this. And even if I did buy one, I don't know if it would even work since my other 2 characters that are SUPPOSE to spawn them, IS NOT. :?

It's nice to read all of the little tricks you use to work around this issue. But wouldn't it be a better idea to JUST FIX THE GLITCH?!

It looks like its a glitch with the Skellies.. a few on the Game board have opened their feeder towns to allow others to complete the questions with the request that once you get your fill you delete them so Others can be added.

HEY EA HOW BAD DO YOU LOOK WHEN OTHER PLAYERS HAVE TO FIX YOUR ISSUES!!!!!

I spent 150 donuts to get Laura Powers so I could spawn skeletons. No skeletons occupy my Springfield. Pls fix this glitch along with all the rest so I can complete shopkeeper goals before the event ends.
