To be honest I've no idea exactly how many items I have, I know that I got the first warning about items and have added more since anyway I play my game on a Samsung tab 3 10.1 and on a Galaxy S5 phone both play the game without issue but it's definitely quicker to do neighbour visits on th S5.

I play on two devices. Mainly my Verizon Ellipsis 8 tablet. But I sometimes play TSTO on my LG G4. (Trying to upgrade to an nvidia sheild tablet but wife is liking it yet)

I have a lot of castle walls and play on an s5. cant tell you how many items I have, no way I am going to count. I have not got a message on how many iteams I have. But my game run smoothly.

I've triggered a range of warnings, depending on how much I'm adding/removing while decorating. I removed a lot of Boardwalk tiles and accompanying decos last night, started adding new SH items, and triggered the 6800 warning. I was likely a bit over 7000 before removing, and my town was pretty smooth on my iPad Air 2.

Play on my iPhone 6+ isn't as smooth, and playing in my home over wifi on either device is always much smoother than over cellular.

I recently hit the 7600 warning. When I play on my Kobo Arc, my game is a little laggy, and friend visits can take a while. It runs perfectly on my Samsung Galaxy 4S though.

Isn't there an 'armory' style database that automatically counts all our stuff for us... xD

Been playing since Release Days 2012, every. single. day. minus days at sea on the cruise boat in between.

iPad Mini 4, iPhone 6 Plus, and for my B town iPhone 5.
There was lag during the unrefined Halloween event, but since the game went back to normal the lag is gone, which makes me fear for the potential bright white Christmas event.

I have around 5650 items and recently got a Galaxy S6 Edge. I almost get no lag.

I've passed the 7600 mark. I'm waiting on the next one which will probably be ~7800.

I play on Nexus 7 2012 (grouper) with KK 4.4.4

At the moment, game is functioning very well. So my load time is a little slow, and I'm getting only minimal graphics rendering faults. Not bad.

The limit is currently 8600. My neighbors who are at that limit, load significantly slower than others, and have significantly more graphics errors, when i visit them. (But they have awesome, well designed towns, so it's worth the wait)

galaxy s2 plus - 1 of each item at least - only trees i've multiples of - no lag at all (except sometimes during events where everyone has but not a big lag)

I play on iPad 4 (but getting iPad Pro for Christmas) plus I play sometimes on iPhone 5s and have about 5500 buildings and decorations!!

I play on my desktop PC, Samsung Galaxy Tab Plus and sometimes on my Galaxy S5 Mini.
But imo the bigger the screen the better
