Where's the present I dropped?

We've been trying to tell people...

Find an open area. Zoom in. Drop the Present.

Sometimes my neighbors don't have a lot of open spaces and sometimes where you think the present will land is a tad off and then it is hidden!

There is usually open space in the water if you want to make them easy to see.

Trying to hide the presents so they will not be found is the best part of this event.

There is one present hidden somewhere in my town. I have tried and tried to find it using all of the previously mentioned methods. It is nowhere to be found. I hope they raise the amount of presents and wipe out the hidden ones when Act 2 starts, now that most of us have figured out how to drop presents.

Here's an idea.... Perhaps they could add lumps of coal disguised as presents to give to the overly naughty neighbors. They would be a separate type of present which you would only get 1 or 2 per day. When they open it, they will see the lump of coal and it would subtract bows from them. The lumps of coal would not benefit the giver (wouldn't want to get carried away with this tactic). What do you think? Maybe this is a bad idea.... It could get ugly....

Just drop it by the Simpsons house where you automatically go. Why do people have to search around for a place to drop them. Its not that hard people. The first thing you want to see when you turn on the game is the presents! You start at the Simpsons house. Drop them there.

Sometimes it just goes wrong. I had couple of times what the OP means. You choose an area, drop the present and see no animation of how it drops down and no present in a targeted place.

It's still difficult to find, even if you "hide" houses...

There's a present hidden in my town that I can't find. I have seriously contemplated this option.

I have a bunch of open space but no one uses it, so I just moved my Simpson House for the first time in about 18 months.
