i used an old level 5 town and after a bit the starter pack appeared. ea please. don't tell me you need to be level 5/6 to start it and if you're over you can't?
I'm wondering if it is like the last Frink deal where only people who have never bought donuts get it. In my B town (level 50 but no spend) the starter pack was in the menu. It then disappeared after a synch, but in my main town, where I do buy donuts, it was never in the menu at all.
The Starter Pack promo is not working. If Gil doesn't appear right away and you can see the items in the build menu, force close and reopen and gil will pop up for the snow globe. No sign of the Starter Pack working though I contacted support and they said they're aware of the issue.
Meanwhile you can also check out the video that unlocks once you get Maggie right here:
So from what I'm understanding you're saying that we can get Maggie early if we spend a shitton of donuts that's ridiculous because I am so ticked off about the character groups and doing all these quests multiple times over and over
A way to earn Maggie early is here as well as two new promos: the Starter Pack and the Snow Globe! To start Early Maggie you need to have all 4 act 2 buildings placed and have completed Oh Come, All Ye Vengeful Pt. 4. You've time till January 2nd at 8am GMT to trigger it. Click here for the guide on early maggie, and here for the section with the guide on the new promos.
That's disappointing. I just built the Fortress of lonlitude today and I refuse to spend 225 donuts on a giant snowglobe (saving them for act 3). I was REALLY looking forward to unlocking a new character today .

^^This. Taking forever to upgrade/complete buildings. Still on Level 2 of Fortress of Lonelitude.

i dont get it whats your problem with that? Tomorrow you will be done with upgrades or on Christmas TOPS.
Maggie is somewhat Act 3 character and we are still in Act 2. Wheres the rush?

The rush is. I'm impatient I've got holiday stuff to do for the next two days I'm not going to be able to play the game and I want to make sure that I have all the content available to me. its ridiculous for the fact is that I have to sit here and repeat 8 hour tasks over and over I have spent $1,500 in this game I want to use all the characters that I have in my town something like 175 if I remember right off the top of my head. why do I have all these unused characters that I've paid for and I can't even use them.
On a side note, i'm concerned that there may be some people out there worrying that they wont get Maggie for free if they do not get her before january 2.
I think it might help some people who avoid any "spoilerish" stuff to know that if they do not get Maggie by January 2, that just means that they missed the EARLY opportunity to get her, and that they'll be able to get her later in the event. For free. As part of the next Act.
This week (from today until January 2 ) is basically an early opportunity ...
Woo-hoo! Maggie is fantastic! Lovin' her 4 hour task! But now I think EA needs to update the Nativity Scene. Change Bart to (ironically) a Wise Man, Shepherd, or maybe a Donkey. Maggie should be the Baby Jesus, what with her swaddling onesie and all.

That's a good point. People might be panicking, especially if they didn't upgrade their Snowman and GingerB in time.
It's easy to leap to the conclusion that if you can't get Maggie before Act II ends you have to spend donuts.

But really cool - literally and metaphorically!
Expensive at 225 big ones but an instant purchase for me. And at least it gives characters a 2 hour job - provided the jobs are permanent...

I don't think that it has been released yet because it didn't appear in either one of my towns
I was saving my donuts for holiday skins, but I'll probably just get this if we aren't getting them separate.

I tried shaking my phone to see it it worked like a real snow globe, that would have been cool, but it does not.

I'm still doing Krusty's Reindeer Truck.
That squirrel animation on the tree lot when Martin is looking for the perfect tree is so cute!!!!!!
What is the starter pack supposed to start? Holiday cheer?
Will there be any nudity in 2016?
