Valentine issues - dont post friend codes here

Iv been able to visit 2 friends one i just added and one has been on my list for a while i have no idea why or how tho

I am having the same issue and I have made an observation. The only friends I can visit are the ones who upgraded to the valentines edition BEFORE me. So when I updated - the only friends who I could visit were the two who messaged me about the update. My son then updated soon after me - I couldn't access him but he could access me.

I'm guessing this is the bug!!

Been able to access 4 out of 13 new friends.
Havn't tried the old ones. ( done my 3 tasks for the day before the update)

I've had at least 20 friends visit me so far. I've tried to visit the people who have visited me however, I can only visit 3 out of my 100 friends. Note: I have not updated my iOS yet. My question is are people going to the App Store and doing the app update or are they just opening up the game and getting an update and think that's all they have to do? I can't remember but for the Christmas update I think all we had to do was start the game and we got the update automatically. I just don't understand why people can visit me but I can't visit them. I'm grateful for all the hearts but I wish I could return the favor. :?

My son had update before me, I still can't visit him.

Guessing this might be similar to when the Xmas update came out and origin bombed out shortly after for a few days.

Hopefully we'll wake up to a fix tomorrow lol

Still not able to visit friends. I have 25 friends and been able to visit 4 of them. Then went to go update my iPhone tapped out and it froze. Logged back in thru my iPad and it took away the 9 hearts I had, but gave me another 3 donuts and another chance at the scratch ticket.

Interesting observation regarding how to update. I updated via App Store. After I updated to 6.1. Nobody has visited me. Do u need people free or do hearts show up even if people are working?

On a separate note, I had $2.7 million yeaterday, then blew a million on a bunch of land. Can't buy skyscraper now. Then there's also the $1 million stairway to heaven. I gues their way of making sure we keep doing missions forever.

I updated my IOS last night and updated tapped out through the App Store. I've took it off, reloaded it back on and nothing really works. I've added a few new friends tonight from the forum and most can visit me but I can't visit them. I see my current friends have visited me too as when you click on the hearts it tells you who left them...i then went straight to their profile and it wouldnt let me access them. I downloaded the update at 5.45 this eve?!?

Currently all off my people are free except Bart and Lisa. I've received over 100 hearts from friends so far.

I haven't received any hearts but have visited 2 friends. I updated to 6.1 IOS last night. I went to App Store to update Simpsons. I deleted and reloaded and am still having problems going to friends neighborhoods.

Yea I am having a simular issue where I can not visit anyone thats on my friends list includeing any new people I have added after the update hit. As far as I can tell no ones been able to visit my city as well as far as I can tell nothings poped up in town from someone visiting.

My ios is the most current as well and I have attempted to uninstall the game on my device and so far nothing is currently working as far as I can tell. Be nice if there was kind of offical update from EA saying they know of the issue and a fix is in the works or something.

I got 1 heart from 1st visit. 2 from next. Then 1 and 2 again I think. Never 3. Maybe it's random, but more likely another bug.

I have visited a couple of people and it depends how many buildings let you leave a valentines card. Some have a few some have only one and two. Like the Santa coins could only be collected from houses with Christmas lights

I added some new people that said they updated and I can't visit them.
I updated first then my hubby. He can visit me but I can't visit him.

I just added a new person and was actully able to visit there city but still cant visit a bunch of other people who I know have updated there citys but I still cant seem to access there citys.

All of my actual friends that talk to me say they can't go to my Town... though my town is updated. I have had it updated for 6 hours or so now... I can go to 3 towns plus the Simpson's Springfield. I hope no one will delete me thinking I am an inactive player. Already 1 friend is kaput. If any of you are friends with me, DON'T DELETE ME

hope this is cleared out.

oh, gotta love the 2 items that costs millions. lol

Having the same issues as everyone else. I can't visit any friends and, as far as I can tell, my friends can't visit me, either. I hope EA fixes this issue shortly.

i am having the same problem. i am not able to visit any of my friends however i can go some ppls towns that add me. so far out of the 15 ppl that have added me tonight i have been able to go to 7 towns

I'd been able to visit 2 of 30 friends and maybe 5 of the 15 I've just added after the update. I'd done all my other springfields before the update today.
As far as I can tell, no one has been able to get into mine either.

Same problem here. Only able to visit one out of my 51 neighbors. Had people delete me as a neighbor which I can only assume is because they believe I didn't update even though I updated about an hour after it was available on iTunes. Going crazy since I cannot achieve any of the goals without purchasing hearts with donuts. Do I delete the game and reload it? I've already tried logging out of origin multiple times. Please fix this EA!
