I remember a while back someone had a whole stadium-style setup with people on benches watching UBO sing about love. That was great... I imagine there'd be a few more available now.

    You could always just move the bench while they are on the task and gather them this way.

    To be honest I can't remember all the characters that have a bench based tasks, I know Grandpa Simpson does, is it Patty or Selma can never remember also the tramp guy who's name slips my mind for the moment, does anyone have a list of everyone who has a bench based task?

    I love bench tasks! During the Tapball event I had 11 characters in various states of boredom at the stadium. With the addition of Mrs. Sinclair, I could have 12 (I think). Grampa Simpson has 2 bench related tasks, feeding birds and napping. I don't know what the maximum number of characters with bench tasks is since I don't have every character.

    As far as I know, there are 15 characters with a bench task. Here they are all together on one site (first time I post a picture, hope it works )

    Another possible bench task is Don Vittorio relaxing with his cat. Do you have that character abegheer?

    I have been unsuccessful at doing this. So glad to see it.

    Mystery, your tapball benches were awesome!

    And agreed: bench tasks are awesome
    (As are the walking with animal & playing instrument tasks)

    Thanks for the compliment!, :D My Springfielders don't have time for sitting on benches anymore. They are too busy complaining at the Qwikimart Headquarters. :wink::mrgreen:

    Why have you been unsuccessful in doing this? Just set each character on their bench task and then move the bench and benchee to wherever you want them.

    Yes...but it wasn't as nice. And I missed festivus...

    Glad the kem hq is paying out...

    (Right now I'm trying to see if I can get a band together...Lindsey nagelle on vocals? Duet with Desmond? Krusty operetta?)

    What is the problem with getting them together? Don't they automatically head to the closest empty bench if you send a character on a bench task?

    Some bench observations:

    - They go to the closest bench.
    - you can also move a bench next to them, then initiate the task. This allows you to select a particular bench.
    - you can "hide" the characters and move the bench with them sitting on it.

    (I do this to sit Edna on a pink Valentine's bench, then move it to the end of the pier so it looks like she's feeding the sea gulls. )

    But doing this i discovered...

    - the new SH benches are not included for bench tasks! ( Couldn't get her or Abe to sit on one.)
    All my designs look unfinished because i can't place as many plants, streetlights, and fences as i would like. PLEASE REMOVE THE LIMIT, EA!
