SF things that look worse when rotated

I always have Sir-putt-a-lot's pointing towards the right so the monkey face is visible, otherwise you can only see the back of it.
My choice for all my Tapped Out news and troll-free friendly chat is the EA officially approved Tapped Out UK :)

I guess it's the decades watching The Simpsons, but having the Simpson's House face south (towards the water) looks wrong to me. It's always turned the other way, like every establishing shot used on the show.

Most of the stuff in my town either faces south towards the water (the stuff backed against the mountains faces east). However, Lard Lad faces east because it looks awful when rotated to face to the south.

How do you know which way is south? There is no sun. Logically, straight up would be north, making the buildings facing either south-east away from the mountains or south-west towards the water.

I do have Lard Lad facing the same way as you, but I've faced the First Church of Lard Lad the other way towards the water.

I agree with both the lard lad and sir putts a lot. Neither look right facing the other way. I also like the nuclear towers facing south so the exhaust blows north.

I've always had the Super Collider face east - feel like the animation is more appropriate/visible that way. Also, the right side, when facing south is pretty plain.

As far as SF's orientation, I remember one curious bloke who had a thread about that long before Cookie Kwan told us which way was West.

Super glad they fixed the Z on the indoor tennis court - remember when it was backwards when you rotated it? Terrible.

I've oriented most of my town to match the typical way we see it in the show. Turning these the other way would be unthinkable!

    Evergreen Terrace:

    Nuclear plant:

    Town Square:

Only problem i have here is the Lard Lad boy is on the wrong side either way. It needs a mirror flip.

Other buildings i must have one-way:

Pimento Grove - don't want to see the side exit
Herman's - must see escape ladder
Church - must see slanted rooftop
Hospital - must see emergency drive
Flanagan's - must see side door animation tossing water out
Putt-putt - must have ape BACKWARDS to conceal the edges of the greens, so they better match my other homemade greens.
All my designs look unfinished because i can't place as many plants, streetlights, and fences as i would like. PLEASE REMOVE THE LIMIT, EA!

I always wondered, but that Napoleon thing sounds bogus. Napoleon never conquered America or Canada or...
    etc.

Nice town. Love to see trees and stuffs between houses. That's how I design all the houses. An eco friendly place :)
