Hi all, I was just wondering. Did anyone managed to get to the second level of the casino crafting. I'm only at 3 blue cases at the moment and Iplay several times every day. Any tips? Also is it normal we can't craft anymore before we reach the new level? :? Sorry If it's already somewhere, you can also throw me a link in that case. I wasn't able to find it.

Here is a thread about trying to get to crafting level 2:

Yes, there is a limit on the amount of items that can be crafted at level 1.
It seems there is a certain amount of luck with this event, what drops you get from gamblers, crafting items given from
Moe's and Cletus's and even what daily challenges you may be given.

    Thank you!

Reminder - act 2 starts on Monday 7th March.
To be able to obtain all act 1 prizes you will need a total of 92,774 chips ( from the calendar guide) by the end of today (Saturday) and to get Lucius a total of 101,208 chips before act 2 starts.
Good luck to everyone who haven't already unlocked all these prizes!

I have about 200 horseshoes and 200 coasters. I've not crafted anything or bought any level upgrades. As long as my math is correct to craft the max of each item from level 1 and level 2 about half of these are needed. Assuming drop rates are similar in acts 2 and 3 I'm not seeing how it will be possible to even get upgraded to level 2 let alone level 3. This has to be the stupidest crafting design ever. Adding this level upgrade nonsense makes it unnecessarily complicated (convoluted?). I have no clue how to proceed and I'm a very smart person.

With act 2 starting in ?20 hours and I still don't have Lucius, I was wondering if it's possible, I have done the figures and I'm wondering if it's possible.

Current stats (as of 11:55 GMT):
    Chips: 77,465
    Coins: 228

I'll be able to play for the next 10 hours earning me:
1540 more chips from the casino, and 1200 more chips from gamblers
And a minimum of 14 more coins from the casino

This brings my end of day totals to:
    Chips: 80,205
    Coins: 242
Meaning I will need a further 23,735 to earn Lucius.

To get Lucius I'll need to make up this difference by using coins, on average each coin will need to payout 98.08, is that realistic?

Also I wouldn't mind having to pay some donuts for Lucius, I'd probably value him at less than 50 donuts. Every 370 chips earned reduces the "get now" price by 5 donuts for anyone who's wondering by the way.

So should I spend my coins or save for act 2? And if I spend them should I use Cletus's or Moe's for better payouts? Thanks in advance, all opinions will be appreciated :D

Yeah, can someone explain this to me too. I've done 4 upgrades and still not even halfway to lvl 2. I stopped because I started thinking I'm going to get an instant lvl up in Act 2 and should spend the horseshoes and coasters on more lvl 1 stuff. Am I missing something? Or is it just that hard to level up?

Take a look at my stats for Moe's, about 7 posts above your post.
I believe that you should be able to do it, my averages are above 100 chips per gaming token.
Cletus's is a bit more hit-and-miss, some people reporting good returns, others getting poor returns.
Safest bet would be Moe's. Good luck!

It's just that hard :) I'm still 9/10 from level two. I do not think you get an instant level up when Act II hits. You're supposed to grind the levels yourself with crafting materials. I'd say use the coasters etc for getting another tier not crafting fountains or whatever. Crafting stuff only gets you Players Club points.
Of course ultimately it depends what you want to craft. I want at least the Spruce Moose (available at level 2) and the Safari Casino (level 3) so I'm concentrating on leveling up first, then crafting. The Players Club will take care of itself more or less as any Act prize will go towards unlocking the different stages there.
It's not really clear whether the cocktail glasses and tickets will automatically start dropping with Act II-III or after leveling up combined with Act II-III :)

For anyone who is struggling to get Lucius, here are some 'buy now' figures:

Between 3710 and 3970 chips away would cost 55 donuts
1430 chips away would cost 20 donuts

    I'm 17400/29600 until Lucius.

If I miss him, I miss him. I was a few days late to the event. He's not really a character I care much for anyway, so it's all good. Probably just gonna hold off until act 2. If I had Tatum I'd try, but I don't so no need for the character.

Might as well save coins and courtesy chips for act 2.

If you want to keep working at getting Lucius it's probably doable with two more rounds of casino tasks/clearing gamblers and about 100 game tokens at Moe's. Or you can at least get his doughnut cost down to a reasonable level. Don't give up if you want him in your town.

Math: You just need 12,200 chips (29,600 - 17,400 = 12,200) and there're what, ten/eleven hours left? Two rounds of task will give you 1100 chips with only freemium characters. Add in two rounds of gamblers and you've got another 1200. Neighbour's will give you 890. That leaves 9010, which should be doable with less than 100 chips at Moe's slots (see the stats on pages four and five (I think) of this thread - Moe's should give you about 100 chips per game token). You'll get at least 10 of those tokens from the casino tasks, probably more with the gamblers. And if you've got more than just the freemium characters it'll cost fewer game tokens to make up the difference.
