Tokens are available for the entire event. However on every forum displaying prices and tokens you see 3 Colors. Red, blue and green. Seems with 3 acts there will be a different color token for act 2
I think you are confusing chips with tokens.
Yes - to be clear I'm referring specifically to the gold-coloured "GAME TOKEN", not the (Red) Chips or other colour chips.
Just about finished my third round of act 1 bonuts. Going to save tokens for act 2 after that.
Seems like these will most likely carry over through all acts.
so are we 100% certain that they carry over?
i have enough coins to get 9000 tokens for sure - donuts!
dunno whether to use them or save
I'm sure they'll carry over - like others have mentioned, they're for sale in the store for three more weeks, which makes no sense if they're useless after today.
I'm saving all mine for Act 2. I used enough to get me to crafting level 2 but now I'm hoarding!
Saved 90 tokens so far. And only because my DC reward today was 1350 chips for playing 8 Casino Games with tokens and I decided to save those chips until Act 2 tomorrow. My math shows that I will get another bonuts round easily without any income from casino games, so no risk, pure profit.
UPD: Just thought about it... Will those chips be relevant for Act 2 or will they be red as the picture in DC shows? That is the question... What do you think, guys?
Red chips won't be around next act. It switches to a new color tomorrow. Green or blue. I can't remember which but it's whatever color is next when looking at friends towns. The courtesy chips will stay the same as will coins. The prizes are just listed as casino chips so that will continue act to act. I will hit another round of bonuts without coins easily today so I am going to stockpile mine for tomorrow since it's back to work.
I'm getting so few crafting material from the gambling that I've decided to save the gold coins now in the hope when the game is updated things will be better. I'm not going to reach level 2 crafting before the morning but I am on and should get my third set of bonuts.
Flabbergasted at how many coins and chips and stuff you all have...
I dont even have the act one price yet...
Real life really took most of my time and energy the last months, some days i can only log in once...
Dont know how you guys do it  cuddos to you all

As has been stated, all of the evidence points to tokens (not red chips) carrying over. I'm completely convinced.
Having said that nobody here works for EA and is privy to the programming and agenda for this event. You'll have to read over this thread and make your own decision.
I'm 100% convinced that they will carry over. But nobody can say to you with 100% certainty that they will carry over.

If you're only playing once a day for real life issues, don't get bummed out by this. It's just a game and there will be other events later on. The only reason everyone has gotten so far is that they have, fortunately, been able to balance their real-life issues with a 4-hour login cycle. Don't get flabbergasted, just enjoy this for what it is... a game to pass the time.
I personally don't see a purpose to carrying them over. You either use them now for bonus donuts, or keep hoarding and use them all at the end of act 3 for donuts. 6 of one, half a dozen of the other. I highly doubt act 2 or 3 will be considerably more difficult, and you'll be happy that you carried them over. But that's just my opinion.

I also hope that the crafting materials appear more frequently with Act 2. I got decent amounts of these for the first half of Act 1 but then they slowed to a trickle.
Perhaps that was intentional to keep people from getting too far ahead - we'll see. If the current rate continues into Act 2, it'll be nigh unto impossible to get all the items, but I suspect it'll become more "balanced" again soon.

This is only a game. Some people have a lot of time on their hands, have jobs that allow them to log into the game every couple hours, or have a lot of money to buy a lot of donuts. Don't worry about all the items you didn't get. When EA shuts down the game, everybody will end up with nothing anyways.
I really do enjoy the game, if i dont get an item, sometimes i am a bit bumped out, but i survive 8)
i dont stress, Been playing for the last 3 years, i have plenty of stuff in my sp
Im just always so surprised of all your dedication for this game
Anybody can hoard tokens now, the real challenge is to not spend them during acts II and III either. I never plan on spending my 8,346 tokens. Never! That's the mark of a true hoarder. The rest of these people who hoard now only to spend later are all hypocrits! Lets see whos still holding the most tokens after the event ends and let that person rule us all.

I'm doing the same. Plus earning extra donut rounds

I'm sure they'll be useful someday.
