I don't even see the point of playing Cletus dice game

Prev13
I read the best strategy is to keep picking either 2 or 12. It seems I never win. Went through 10 coins getting nothing. At least I get SOMETHING from Moe's game every time.

Playing 7 gets me 110 chips 4/5 times.

Maybe try a different number? #NotHard

I stopped after the first try because the Moe's already takes a long time, rolling the dice 3 times for every coin takes way too long for me.

I use the dice game when I have a daily challenge to collect 5 courtesy (purple) cards. Otherwise I've been using Moes.

I pretty much agree. Moe's is superior.

My experience so far shows that if you don't stick to high risk numbers (2 or 12) and go in series from 2 to 12 (11 games) your income will be higher comparing to income from 11 games at Moe's. I made a table with my results and it clearly shows that Dice is better than Slots, but my thread about it is apparently not interesting for tappers here. :)

Omg, you guys never play Si Bo in a real casino before?

For 2 dices, the highest chances of winning is 7... b'cos 7 has the highest probable combinations.

I win 110 chips & prizes each time, amd almost 90% on lucky 7. Try it! :)

    (Edit: 110 chips)

I played 6 rolls at dice and 6 pulls at slots, and slots came out on top for me. I compared this 3 different occasions playing each game 6 times. The first time moe's beat Cletus by about 100. The second time moe's was higher by about 200 and the third time moe's was higher by about 600. I only chose 7 when I rolled. For me Moe's is the better game.

I think in real life what you just said applies. But in game things might be a bit different. just take the following as an example:

In a game of dice, going for number "2" (aside from the cheating) I always get the following sequences:

    - 3 / 5 / 7
    - 4 / 4 / 10
    - 5 / 2 / ... (WIN)
    - 10 / 2 / ... (WIN)

Apart from that, i never get another number.

Just like in Moe's game, some combinations never occur, and the ones that do occur have an pre established odd (that might not be the ones you would expect in real life).

I can confirm this works. You will get a steady 110 chips per gold coin. When you don't win with 7, it will be more than made up by the cheats where you get 400 chips.

Just try 7, buddy.. You will be surprised on the chances of winning, even in TSTO. Lol.

I've been playing Moe's regularly as a sure thing to get the prizes, but I'd probably play Cletus' for fun once I get all the prizes this round. I would think playing the lower paying numbers would pay out better since the odds are higher on those, even if the winnings are more, you're probably a lot more likely to hit a 7 than you are a 12.

According to my spreadsheet, I so rarely see a 7 rolled, it is glaringly obvious that A) EA uses their own number generator, and B) the RNG hates me

I read it, just didn't comment. Was hoping more would join, found it very interesting. Also one of the few I've found online where the tests weren't skewed improperly to start with - well done!

Perhaps stating the obvious, but I think the problem with making an informed decision on the dice versus slots issue is lack of solid data on which to base a decision. Most (or all?) of the posts I’ve seen with recommendations provide incomplete information, are based on inadequate sample size, and/or seem to embody misunderstandings about statistical reasoning.

There's a lot of very clever folk on this forum who always go the extra mile to provide lots of data and useful info on the best options in scenarios such as this. And for that I say thank you and hurrah for your super-human brains.

Unfortunately I'm not one of them (I am a thicko), so I quite often don't understand the number crunching. I usually adopt the easiest option and go with the flow - it hasn't failed me yet. On this occasion, I am a slot-junkie - no thinking involved.... :P

Edit: I'm so thick, I can't spell

EA is using some sort of random number generator only to determine if you win or lose. The numbers that are rolled are meaningless. Example, if you always pick 2, the losing patterns are always 3/5/7, and 4/4/11. Every other outcome, you will win 400 chips. The random number generator only determines if you win or not, not the actual outcome of the dice.

For my nr 5 seems to be my lucky nr. With 6 coins im certain to gain about 200 chips, mostly more. And plenty of other stuff so i can craft.
