Stuff and Things: Designs/Screenshots/Links by SWK (Pic Heavy)

Just a collection of my various Tapped Out designs, videos and links - proof of hours of my life I'll never get back. At least I have evidence of said time wasted, so I got that going for me . . . which is nice.
.
.
- Using "spoiler codes" to tighten up the thread - with so many pics, thought it best to not force them to load at all times
- All the "Big Designs" should be clickable to larger images with better resolution
- If anyone spots bad/broken links, please let me know
- Thanks for stopping by, cheers!

(We are floating up a steep scrubby slope. We hear male voices gently singing "Tumbling Tumbleweeds" and a deep, affable, Western-accented voice--Sam Elliot's, perhaps:)

". . . somewhere out in the mid-west, there was this fella, fella I wanna tell you about, fella by the name of Sandwedgeking. At least, that was the handle his lovin' golfin' buddies gave him, but he never had much use for it himself. This Sandwedgeking, he called himself, The Dude.
Now, Dude, that's a name no one would self-apply where I come from. But then, there was a lot about the Dude that didn't make a whole lot of sense to me. And a lot about that Tapped Out Forum he visited, like-wise. But then again, maybe that's why I found the place s'durned innarestin'.
They call the Official EA Forums the land of glitches, trolls, and misfits. I didn't find it to be that exactly, but I'll allow as there are some nice folks there.
'Course, I can't say I seen Facebook.com/TheSimpsonsTappedOut, and I never been to tappedoutforums.com, and I ain't never seen no queen in her danged reddit.com/r/tappedout/undies, as the fella says. But I'll tell you what, after seeing thisahere tappin' game and the links I'm about to unfold -- wal, I guess I seen somethin' ever' bit as stupefyin' as ya'd see on any a those websites, and in English too, so I can die with a smile on my face without feelin' like the good Lord gypped me."

The following are videos of my full monorail for 4junk3000's contest. They are all basically the same except some of the character animations change or different Springfielders pop in; I also thought it a fun idea to include varying background music so I recorded a bunch for redundancy/variety.
Sadly, youtube quality/cropping (and some adult beverage-induced user errors) eliminated several runs and different tunes.
These are the ones that made the cut; again, they are more or less the same, but you've your choice of audio:
(1) Lyle Lanley Setup/Song from The Simpsons
(2) Wilson Picket - Land Of 1000 Dances
(3) Aerosmith - Train Kept A Rollin'
(4) Johnny Cash - Folsom Prison Blues
(5) Mumford and Sons - The Wolf
(6) From "The Sims" Soundtrack - Buy 2
(7) From "The Sims" Soundtrack - Build 5
And for my future reference, those songs that didn't make it, but perhaps someday . . .
Ozzy Osbourne - Crazy Train
Grateful Dead - Casey Jones
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Tuesday's Gone
Doobie Brothers - Long Train Running
Gladys Knight & the Pips - Midnight Train to Georgia
Additionally, various other rides from other designs (hope to add more going forward:)
Las Springfield 1 (High Def) Elvis - A Little Less Conversation
Las Springfield 2 (HD) Elvis - A Little Less Conversation (end)
Las Springfield 3 (Non-HD) Elvis - Viva Las Vegas
Fire Rail 1 (HD) Arthur Brown - Fire
Fire Rail 2 (HD) Johnny Cash - Ring of Fire
Fire Rail 3 (HD) Ohio Players - Fire
Fire Rail 4 (HD) The Doors - Light My Fire
SciFi Rail 1 - Non-HD
SciFi Rail 2 - HD, but not cropped
A quick note in case anyone is curious how I did the videos. Others found an app via Android to do a screen grab, but I had to resort to cruder methods:
Used the work iPad to record video from my iPhone; audio from the phone enhanced with the portable speaker I use mainly on the golf course; music audio from the home theater speakers via the Playstation youtube app.
The Adipose Videos:
I have only three regrets when it comes to this silly little game of ours: (1) That I didn't start playing sooner. (2) That I didn't find these forums sooner. (3) That I didn't find out about The Adipose sooner.
@TheAdipose is a gaming streamer over on Twitch who started doing TSTO youtube tutorial videos, which eventually evolved into hour long live design streams. It was a really unique, entertaining little show that brought all the various Tapped Out communities together to showcase the design aspect of our game. Although he no longer does Tapped Out videos, he's a funny dude and still active on Twitch streaming various other games.
Toward the end of his TSTO run, I was lucky enough to have a few designs featured and even won a raffle to have Adi stop by for and exclusive visit. Links below are synced to my designs, but I definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys the design aspect of this game, take a peek at his various Tapped Out videos: TheAdipose TSTO Playlist - plenty of ideas to draw upon, including those from other members of this forum!
March 1, 2014 - Drive-In Cinema - 'twas the first time I had a design featured on his show and I was pretty excited - (removed link) as forum update delete the first post of the thread. I assure you, 'twas both compelling and hilarious)
April 13, 2014 - Tunnel of Love - whilst chatting with Wookie of TSTO Addicts
April 26, 2014 - Frink's Lab - a pretty basic/compact design, but there were a lot of other great ones in this video.
May 10, 2014 - Adi visits SWK's Entire Town - during an interview with Em-Cha of TSTO Topix/Addicts. Admittedly, not the most seamless of chats, but still really awesome to see that old town.
May 25, 2015 - The Last TSTO Stream - does not include any of my designs, but Annette and the (ForumNerds) put together a little message for Adi, which is featured about 17 1/2 minutes in.
Misc. Videos
Homer Birthday Card
Jesus Lends A Hand
Just various screen caps I've collected over the years. Nothing special, but many still bring back memories or make me smile.

Originally I reserved this section to showcase designs by my neighbors or other tappers, but the forum change, image hosting sites links failures, and lack of time has turned this in to sort of a hodgepodge of miscellany. If that's even a thing...

Thank you mc_9208 - your Vegas strip is phenomenal! I've also peeked at your other posts - keep up the great work! *edit* - forgot we are neighbors  (I've hardly been visiting anyone lately, but you've got an awesome town as well)
Definitely do not mind, Mr. Baggins - "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery"
Thanks, Castiel! And thank you for being so active in the showcase section - far too few people stop in over here & you certainly help to keep things alive and share all kinds of great designs
If you ever have room..... would adore being your neighbor - I would drool on my phone every visit!
I know. I can never look at SWK's pics at work for some reason.
