Above average. I thought the storylines were at least occasionally clever and I found the gambling mini-games a pleasant diversion. I dont care much for crafting, but at least that aspect of the event wasn't as bad as in some previous events. The new buildings were nice, although I dont think they needed to introduce quite so many of them.
I really enjoyed this event, I especially liked how the storylines and quests continued for most of the event. The buildings, characters, skins and decoys are fun.
My only disappointment is the omitting of Gunther, Ernst and Anastasia. And the crafting has become stale, time to change it up again, or go back to an earlier system. Hopefully the (speculated) Badlands event will have something like a general store and we can just collect currency and purchase the items we want.
I also really liked playing the gambling games. More fun than just tap, tap, tapping the entirety of the event.
Meh... At the beginning, I thought it was a better-than-average event. As it wore on, I became less engaged. By the time the third act started, I just wanted it over with. You can see it in my chip totals - well over 200k red; about 160k green (iirc); and about 90k blue as of today. I've won all of the content, and crafted at least one of everything.
I dislike the mechanics of these events anymore. Seems we're in constant event mode with little time to just plan, design, and decorate our towns. Way too much mostly irrelevant event content, like large casino buildings that don't generate event currency, casino signs with no matching building, etc. Little-to-no social aspect to events anymore, which is something I really enjoyed in the old events. Heck, I purchased the 2x chip license (whatever it was called) and I think I visited neighboreenos less than a dozen times!
In the end, I keep playing because I have a substantial investment in this game. But for me it's not nearly as much fun to play anymore. Events used to be fun - we used to look forward to them. Now we're in constant event mode with essentally no social interaction anymore. TSTO has turned in to FGTQFS so much so that I think EA hired someone from TinyCo to design the game.
Tl;dr It was another enjoyable but decent event. The new items look great. Next to the mini-games not a big difference in event formula which is kind of getting stale to me. Crafting for decorations could use a break.
Starting off with the mini-game was fun. Even though there was some talk about a potential shortage of craftable material on the forum it really wasn't all that bad. In these final days I still have to choose between items that I'd like to have.
Crafting during events could use a break. It's getting tedious because of the repetition of creating a single item, choosing to place or store, getting kicked out of the crafting menu and getting back in again. An option to create multiples in a single go would be welcomed.
As far as crafting decorations goes, it cuts greatly into the availability of event items which could otherwise be purchased with ingame cash. If I remember correctly we can only buy Nero's wall and the white spotlight for money.
On the plus side, this event really brought a lot of items into Springfield which give you the ability to create a glamorous part of town. It's also nice to see that putting lots of time in could really make a difference to getting bonus rounds.
The Casino district tastes great and has inspired me to give up amphetamines! The only thing better would be if all the bullies could Voltron merge into a Combo Bully that towered over the middle school.

Super heroes Event had a very short storyline, which I found to be incomplete. It was just days of non-stop tapping just to get a character with one storyline quest. I disliked the buildings and it was more hype than fun.
I like the Signs and Casinos, because they come directly from the episode. I don't think the signs in the show had casinos to go with them. I also liked instead of just endless tapping, the gave us games to play for event currency. It was a nice change. I hope they come up with so more new and fresh ways for events in the future.
And I really enjoy the fact that there is No Forced Friend Visits, it's more of an extra added option. Those friends visits are tiresome and take way too much time loading each town, and then having to search these enormous towns for something, it's really too much. I hope they continue having friend visits as an extra option or for FP prizes, but not mandatory to the event.

I can agree with what you posted

I disagree. The story line was rather blah. Very short but drawn out by the acts, and not particularly interesting or engaging.
