In game cash for xp
I just went through this last weekend. I spent about 285 million. I had the XP Collider on and netted 502 donuts
I ran the numbers on all of the decorations and this was what I came up with (before bonus or collider):
XP/$ Name
0.24242424 Cobblestone Wall
0.14814815 Lady Justice Statue
0.14814815 Minnow Pond
0.14814815 Training Dummy
0.14814815 Volleyball Net
0.14035088 Weather Station
0.13333333 Book Burning Mobile
0.13333333 Tiki Bar
0.13333333 Bloodmobile
0.13333333 Rat Trap Delivery Truck
I dropped all of the decorations where the xp/$ went down and the cost of the item went down (no sense getting a worse value for more taps). So the Cobblestone Wall is clearly the best value for your money. However, it's A LOT of tapping, so I wouldn't really recommend it. I settled on the Training Dummy. It gives a slightly better value than the weather station, and only about twice the tapping. Plus it has a small footprint, so you can fit more in a smaller area. The new area select tool definitely helps with selling them quickly.

I thought i heard it does not matter if stored or not.
I can confirm that they need to be out of storage. When I have them out I get 9 XP for the Simpsons house. When they are stored I only get 7 XP.
It doesn't matter if it's stored or not for your REV, but it has to be out for XP bonus.
Question. So you spent 285 million with XP collider on to get 502 donuts? I didn't do any math,
but am I safe to assume that you needed almost 10 million in XP each time to bonut up? I'm sitting on getting
close to 400 million non usable dollars, that would seem like a good place to spend a bit of it. I just got my 3 donuts yesterday and my next 10 million xp looks so very far away.
Well craptastic. I wanted to store all that craptacular stuff.
Yes I did. My XP bonus is 710.65%. I do need 10 million XP for each set of bonuts. I turned the collider on and pretty much didn't do anything except tap for almost 24 hours. I didn't eat, I barely slept. Most of that was buying and selling the Training Dummies, but when I got close to being out of money, I did do a few levels of Cobblestone walls, just because I wanted to break 500 donuts. I also was sending most of my characters on 1 hour tasks during the 24 hours I had the Collider on. Plus I tried to get everything maxed out before starting, I had a crop of corn ready and all my characters on 24 hour tasks ready when I started.
Realistically, I would have been better off working 8 hours at a job and buying a boatload, but I had nothing going on that day and didn't know what else to do with all that in game cash.
Just put them out when you want to convert cash to xp.
Edit for gals.
wow 24 hours, that's dedication. LOL I've come close on occasion when I was hiding from work (grinding in SH). Our multipliers are similar. I'm at 712.10. I've had the week from hell and all my work is due on monday, so maybe I'll crawl back into bed after I get it all turned it and give it a try before I pick back up at a hellish pace to finish taxes and have 3 big jobs back to back.
Wow. You deserve every sprinkle on every donut!
Thanks for doing this - I'm not sure people realize the magnitude of work involved in testing all the game's decorations and indexing all of their values like this. Great job!
https://tstotopix.me/2014/10/28/fortress-of-choclitude-level-45-freemium-guide/ - 10 000 000mil. = 100 000xp
I am excited to finally be above 50%.
First of all because I was looking to maximize my collider investment (5 donuts), I only looked at buildings and decorations that have no build time. The Fortress of Choclitude takes 36 hours to build, so I would have only been able to do it once during a 24 hour collider run. Secondly, the XP/cash ratio is only .01, so it's not a very good value for your dollar. It does allow you to spend a lot of money with very few taps. I did look into unique items that have no build time. If I include those items the XP/ cash ratio list becomes:
XP/$ Name
0.24242424 Cobblestone Wall
0.14814815 Lady Justice Statue
0.14814815 Minnow Pond
0.14814815 Training Dummy
0.14814815 Volleyball Net
0.14035088 Weather Station
0.1342706 Prison Bus
0.01333333 World's Largest Zirconia
0.01333333 Krusty Burger Oil Rig
So the beginning of the list stays the same and then the Prison Bus gives a better ratio than the Book Burning Mobile, Tiki Bar, Bloodmobile and Rat Trap Delivery Truck. I know several players use the Cubic Zirconia to convert cash to XP. As you can see that is about 10 time worse than the Prison Bus. So if you want to get a good value for your dollar and spend a lot of money, the Prison Bus might be the way to go. The problem with the unique items is you can't take advantage of the chain placement when buying and the area select tool when selling. However, at $441000 a pop, it may not be that big a deal.
Edit: Fix typo
Well, I have been playing since the beginning. I was also a completionist for most of that time. I stopped being one around the tap ball event. I have lots of decorations that give bonus (and lots of them to hide, like Valentine ponds and Spooky Walls). Also, that number of 710.65 is my XP bonus, so that includes the 153% that you can get from the Springfield Heights buildings (my Conform-O-Meter lists my bonus at 559.05). If you're doing the math you'll notice that it doesn't add up. That's because the Grumple Parade Balloon is listed at 2% Money and XP bonus, but actually only gives 0.6% on the XP bonus
3 and 1/2 years of playing the game.
The tennis court glitch helped as well but I was already over 500? 600?
before that.
At one point in the game we were able to get tennis courts that had a multiplier that used
to cost donuts for oscars as the Tennis court was added to the SH build menu. So we all used oscars to up
our multiplier. It's since been replaced with a clay tennis court which is not the same.
Also we had 2 valentine's day events that awarded the cho cho choose you train and valentines ponds as prizes. They
eventually came back for donuts, and when they did they were awarding a multiplier so some us we're already sitting on a bunch.
