:?: I can't find it in the store either. I saw it this morning but did not have time to get it then. Now it's gone. I hope that's a glitch and they bring it back. Otherwise, bummer -- I was going to buy donuts and get a few things.
Is no one going to complain that an item specifically made for this event (Wild West Promo) has dirt that is ever so slightly different than the dirt tiles? lol Well, that's what I noticed. Maybe it's supposed to be a shadow???
I really like the look of the building. Sort of makes me think of Three Amigos. Cool that there's permanent tasks there. Super glad that that appears to be EA's new policy, to always include a permanent task on their new buildings.
Whining about the whining is a type of negativity, too! This thread seemed just fine until your mark of negativity. Commenting about our feelings on the building itself is fine! Commenting about the comments about the building.... lol. Meta-whining is still whining.
Unlike most of Gil's deals, I was actually considering getting this one; I was just waiting for the 'should you buy it' post before making my decision. Seems to have disappeared from my store too, so I guess I'll be passing it up
Bought it, not an impulse buy, however i mostly bought it cause of the wooden horse of Troy Sombrero.
The questline is nostalgic, A roleplaying game based on D&D but in a world of Cowboys and Bandits, kids find themselves in a real world equivalent of this by a manner of strange circumstances and must fight them themselves.
It reminds me of an 80's film called Cloak & Dagger, short summary:
Kid plays a D&D style game called Cloak & Dagger (instead of warriors and magic its about spies and espionage) he has an imaginary friend based of the character he plays, he finds himself in the middle of a problem as a scientist hands him a game cartridge that holds military secrets. He has to defeat foreign spies and in the end his imaginary friend dies.
While the questline is different the general idea is the same, and makes me feel nostalgic.
However i do feel a character would have made it a bit more interesting.
Senor Ding **** wouldve fit in nicely especially if the questline had him reform the bandits into door-to-door doorbell salesmen (is that a thing?) although personally i would prefer if Senor Ding **** is bundled with his vehicle.
The other option:
Another member of the Super Friends:
I mean you have Database and Lisa, who else would be better to play a Roleplaying Game about Bandits and robbers than:
Ham, Cosine, E-Mail, or Report Card?
or
the Martin Hideout Nerds
Adding another character in my opinion is what truly creates a reason to buy an item or at the very least a dialogue of Pros and cons to buy an item.
Most people will pass because it simply offers no to very little incentive, thats understandable.
However what about the Krazy **** or the Notre Dame? They had been bundled with another character, perhaps someone at Ea can see how many people purchased said buildings and compare it to the number of people that purchased the recently released Bandit hideout.
The other option is a character skin, had that been bundled you'd see more people willing to purchase.
But thats just the opinion of someone who bought it, my score 7/10 would buy again.
If you must learn one thing EA let it be this:
I would trust Dwight he is a guy who knows his stuff.
good stuff like that didn't happen when I watched the office.
it was usually the main boss being not funny in a very forceful way and the others trying their best to cover that up but he wouldn't let them.
why don't we have Senor Ding ****? shouldn't that happen?
