I started playing on my Samsung Galaxy and I'm kind of liking the concept (though its a bit weird seeing Tony Stark and Loki as teenagers :P ). A bit disappointed I missed the GotG event (maybe they'll bring them back in a sale). One problem: I'm not that far in and some of the premium characters are insanely expensive. It costs almost 1000 crystals for Vision (not sure who he even is).

Vision is expensive, yes. But War Machine and Quake are only 500 or so and Spider Woman is 250. So they're not all bad.
Unlocked Black Panther this morning. Fully upgrading him is going to be a pain.
Why are all the good premium characters so expensive? I would be willing to get Vision (even though I don't like him much) but he is way too expensive. The only premium character I can afford is Spider Woman (I have 264 gems) and I don't think she is a good buy.

They're no different than TSTO, to be fair. MAA charges 9.99 for 550 crystals. The same will get you 132 donuts in TSTO. There are plenty of things that have cost more than 132 donuts. Yeah, Vision is overpriced, but you don't even want him so it's not that big of a deal.

Should you concentrate on getting Falcon's Captain America, Agent 13 or Level 2 Black Panther?
Well, I did Black Panther Level 2 first because 1) it was easiest and 2) I want to fully upgrade him so I get the full Black Panther outfit.
Agent 13 will be next, but you need the Peggy Carter statue for one of her item drops, and you can't get the statue until you get the Captain America poster. So right now I'm working on those.

I was wrong... Falcon Captain America gets the drop from the Captain America Poster. But, FCA needs 28 vibranium daggers to unlock. Black Panther Level 3 needs 52 of them. It's gonna be a busy weekend!

Also, which character unlock system do you prefer? Avengers Academy (have to get items to unlock) or Tapped Out ( get just by completing questline)?
I don't think it's a quest, I had to download an update from the iOS store. I think it just starts on its own, but I could be wrong.
