Each level up to 100 (where I am) has it's own graphic an quote.
To say this isn't intentional or is some kind of exploit is wrong.
If you take note of what LNP said in another thread, they aren't new graphics. They are from old level ups. All the naysayers are just trying to justify their abuse of the glitch so later you can claim, "Oh, I thought it was meant to be that way" when you really know that it isn't.
Except many of the quotes explicitly reference the NEW levels. And many of the quotes are brand new and have never been used before. So no, they are absolutely not recycled and there was no indication that something was amiss.

Copy that. I clearly fell for it. i thought they were new.
But...even a quest for "We'll always remember level 97?"

It's not a glitch.
All you're doing is leveling up by buying things and utilizing the XP Multiplier that was provided.
You don't have to try to justify yourself to me. I'm not the one that is going to be making the decisions about what happens with the glitch. EA is going to do that.

There were many new quotes. And yes, Level 97 comes with a quest. Not sure how either of those points to a glitch.
The Googolplex has options to show movies up to Level 90.
I think levelling up as far as this if not further is intended. View it as a loyalty bonus for long term players. I haven't started levelling up since I heard of players getting stuck or locked out. I'm sure it is legit and not a lucky glitch.
I hope to exploit it in the near future. I just haven't had time today.

I feel like this all boils down to a missing 0. If it were 400,000 XP to gain a level, that would make some sense. The Level 97 quest would take some reaching, but it wouldn't be years away.
so levels 61-96 flew by with no new content attached to them yet? and then other people's games blew up. That
isn't what EA wanted.
Ye, basically. We've seen the last content-based levels so now they are just a badge of honour.
Given that people usually get 3 donuts for leveling up once (1,000,000 XP to 10,000,000 XP) it would make some sense for the game to hand out a single donut (which the new levels do) for every 400,000 XP or so.
As someone who has to do with games professionally, I'd advise people to step on the brakes.
Just as a a thought experiment. say they had those levels in the game files for a long while, happens all the time. Stuff gets done ahead of time because someone wanted it off their table and "make level entries in the database until the weekend" is something you do in development when someone is without a task for a while. Glitch in the update accesses those levels in the DB and because nobody assigned values to them they all go for whatever the base value in that excel sheet was set to be. Now you have a level value that the game file doesn't handle well on the server. Server tries to compute what happened but can't. File is corrupt and gets dumped because this server thinks "whoa, this is whack".
Assuming a file that represents your progress in the game can be recovered is optimistic at best. Maybe it can be done, chances are it can not.
Bottom line is that "I can, therefore I should" is a very speculative position in a scenario like this.
You would be better served thinking about it in the way "If I should now, I still should be next week" and just leave it until you have hard facts instead of shaky arguments.
No customer support department that can not access your data because it was corrupted will assist you with "I completed every event since the Mayan thing, gimme my stuff" because someone will tell them literally to not do that under any circumstances. The assumption that "they can because they should" is not a reasonable one.
It's so silly for people to argue about it. They said level 60 was the last level. Not level 939. They are currently working on fixing the issue. Why would they work on fixing something that was intentional? Why would something intentional break everyones games that exploited it? Whenver the patch is released, there won't be a level 939. So sit back and wait. Just arguing about it isn't going to change the end results.

When in this game have they ever released 900 new levels in one day? Oh yeah, never. Immediate point to a glitch.
I looked back and yes. There are many new quotes.
It's very obviously intentional.
When in this game have they announced that the released level will be the last level?
Also, please explain level 97 quest and the movies that can be played at the new building.
Exactly. That is all the evidence required to prove this is all absolutely intentional.
So then the first Christmas event must have been a glitch.
Whacking Day must have been a glitch.
The first Gil Sale? Glitch. That first episode tie-in? Huge glitch.
Everything has to happen a first time. Just because it's never happened before doesn't automatically mean it's unintentional.
Glitch or not I've spent over $300 at least (that I can remember, I've lost track/scratch tickets) so I'm good.

I will concede the level multiplier might be out of whack, however. (40K instead of 400K)
