Question. When you all read the word "coyote" are you reading it as 'Kai-yoh-tee'
or as 'Kai-yoht'
Cuz I hope it's 'Kai-yoht'.
Direwolf? My rural peoples, where you at? Back me up on this.
We say kaiyohtee ... we have them in the hills behind our house. We also happen to be near a fire station. The coyotes go into a howling frenzy every time they hear a siren. It's kinda cool, and sometimes the dog next-door joins in. Soul-brothers, as it were.
I love the sound of a bunch of kai-yohts. Our dogs used to howl with them too.

Oddly enough, when I read it I say 'Kai-yoh-tee' in my mind. But when I say it in conversation I say 'Kai-yoht'. I have the same problem with opossum too

I live in an area where we have coyotes...most of the people around here pronounce it Kai-Yoht, but a few say it the other way, so either is acceptable
But how do YOU say it? Things are acceptable but only one way is like, totally rad. 8)
sorry but for donut day here you need to wait for tomorrow. i haven't got all the info yet and would not want to upset the rules on that. but some weird stuff is coming. you'll see
something else is there starting tomorrow morning. donut day
....Donut Day in general or Donut Day in TSTO?
Well, June 3rd is Doughnut Day here in the states, so I'd say both. There defiantly should be something to celibate doughnut day, since TSTO dropped the ball the last three years.
Maybe they'll add the tortoise as a last minute premium item like they do at some events. Don't know if it is in the game files. Maybe ea should keep their game file goodies on portable drives and only make em live at a key point so it will be a complete surprise to people that don't work for ea.
Ahhhh mind blown.
if the info gets leaked well we throw the leakers in
To a valcano of fake lava and robotic piranhas. Cause at first you are thinking it's hot and oh that's lava. But it turns out to be like cool aid and then oh every things ok but then you get munched up my mindless robotic piranha.

Kai-yoh-tee or Kai-yoh-tay. Have to keep our cats in at night. We call river channels to the beach coyote highways.

Lives in city, we don't have them, pronounced this way, didn't know there was a second option.

@johncolombo - Coyotes do live in cities. Don't you live in Pittsburgh? Just google coyotes in Pittsburgh area. Sounds like there are quite a few of them. They have learned to adapt to our cities and live just about everywhere in the U.S.
I think the pronunciation of coyote is a regional thing. I originally came from California and most everyone I knew pronounced it kai-yoh-tee. Now I live in New Hampshire and people here say it the same way. I was really suprised to learn that they have coyotes in NH. I hear them howling often when I have the windows open at night.
