  Only the theory of probability, buddy. What items were you getting? I mean, majority of items have a 6,6% chance. I bet that if you buy another "mistory" box, you won't get those items in the same sequence.

  There's a set amount available type of items you can get from the revised Mystery Box.
  
  Unique items:
  Lemon Tree
  Blue Haired Lawyer
  Tire Fire
  Squeaky Voice Teen
  Kearney
  
  After the unique items, you're only able to get the following items:
  Bomb Shelter
  Khav Kalash Stand
  Lard Lad Donuts
  Minnow Pond
  Chalmer's 1979 _ONDA-
  Itchy & Scratchy Billboard
  Channel 6 News Van
  10 donuts
  30 donuts
  
  So while it's not exactly 3 items, there are only 9. This quickly gives the feeling that the same prizes are being rewarded a lot, depending on the amount of boxes you open at a time.
  
  If you're getting only 3 items repeatedly on a small sample size you should contact EA support.
