Glitchy Future
from what ive seen 1) these recent glitches dont even compare to the ones we used to see and 2) the old bad glitches were never resolved quickly. So all the patches and updates are actually a good sign.

New ground, you have Dirt and Dirt Roads added, along with events Wild West/ Whacking Day/ Homer Live! etc, etc.
These things occurred as such glitches are to be expected, here had been a couple reports of the General Store glitching (fixed before Act I ended)
I personally am hoping for less patches as my devices are fullish (i have factory reset 1 device and have 200mb left but the game doesnt let me get the patch i have to uninstall/reinstall)
Still waiting for level 69.
I probably don't know how to express what I mean here, but I thank you guys for your replies. I know that there have been some really bad glitches and sometimes not patched for a while. I guess I'm saying that these updates might be getting rushed out for the schedule and with that comes more glitches and other unfinished issues. If you guys don't think that's bad, that's good to know. I'm not saying it's bad yet, was just pondering the implications before we traveled down this road for long. I'll wait to assess this until after more of these updates come in and we get a better picture.

These types of changes affect every single character, building, and decoration. When you're making changes that deep in the coding there's going to be glitches. It was a lot at one time and I'm actually surprised it's not glitchier than it is.
Future updates probably won't bring anything as game changing as what they've done over the past month, so I wouldn't worry too much about it yet.
No disappearing prizes, the trade ins have all been fine, Whacking Day stuff is still there. The only "glitch" I've seen is being able to produce two kinds of crafting materials at once.
Now: game stopping glitch! hah!
Yeah, I feel confident that I was not wrong here. It wasn't a horrible glitch (for many) but it was for those locked out. Sounds like they patched it so people are back in...but am I right or what? Will we be seeing any more glitches like we did with level 60? (Maybe only levels would cause this and events won't.)
Quite honestly, the quality of events has massively improved over past events. Christmas 2014 was referred to as Glitchmas.
I realize there are still glitches, however they do deserve some credit for fixing the massive server issues and loss of event currency etc. that used to happen. Force closing and restarting devices was a regular and daily part of game play.
Hopefully they continue to improve the game quality. Part of the issue now is that the game is so big that older devices can't keep up. Personally, I've only crashed once this event.
Ha! I coined that term. Glitchmas.
+1
I'm personally in the middle of having to either download all the DLC every so often (day or so) or not use my device for anything but TSTO (of which I've chosen...) It used to be that I could fill up my device completely (not a good practice) without any issue not even visual glitches. This isn't what I meant with the topic (I meant in-game moreso) but I still think it counts. I've also been kicked out via crashes a few times only during this event (not even during Wild West where I had other glitches).
But I guess it doesn't matter as long as it's not as bad as "glitchmas" (whatever that was like; I wasn't around for it).
Not sure what's happening, but the game is running smooth for me, and has for quite some time.
I've been saying this before, but I think they need make their game engine more efficient. This isn't a live action game for it to be this glitchy. My frame rates are just awful, and visiting friends is nearly impossible because of all the crashes.
All I can say is, this game isn't friendly towards heavy city designers. Considering that the game is only going to get bigger, I see more frame rate issues, especially during events. But let's see what happens. Maybe they'll fix that soon.
I suspect it might have something to do with the superhero design trees. Seeing a little bit of lag isn't unusual for me during events, but this one lags, and skips way more than I've seen in the past - and it never crashed on me before this event, let alone the 5+ crashes I'm presently getting a day.
