More land

Since this game is going to last for quite some time, shouldn't EA add more land to purchase & keep adding more land to buy?

You got an additional row of land when the Superheros 2 event started.

Might not be a popular opinion but Simpsons Tapped Out is missing out on some potential revenue.

Open a water strip in the West
Open a strip to the South
and make them Premium Donut cost.

As a new free strip becomes available the donut strips move out. Basically premium players get to pay for having land in advance of non premium players.

You could also open up a new section behind Springfield Heights with a new entrance.

Seems like they always add some when needed.

Instead of strips of land, I would prefer purchasing land credits. Then land could be added to any currently owned land in any direction you want. This would help greatly with the event "lands" concept so many events have.

Right now I have a long strip of western stuff and superhero stuff waiting for the land to be expanded enough to build a proper town.

Personally I think that the way they are releasing land currently is fine. Whether they do it faster, or at the same pace does not matter to me. I would be greatly disappointed if they started charging donuts for land, or played any other kind of shenanigans with this process as suggested above.

I hope that they just keep adding it as they have been...

Yeah but the last like 3 times (at least) have only been to the south. I really, really wish they'd let us expand more to the east.

And as much as I really don't want a heights update, I think it's over due to even up the land up there to match what's on the other side of the mountains.

Some extra land in the Heights area would be useful, every time they release new land I check if we are getting any for the Heights area but so far no luck, guess we have to wait for Springfield Heights pt3 before getting extra space up there, oh I'd also love some extra water, I'd actually prefer to get a couple of strips of water over more land myself.
Welcome to the forum, there's some fantastic information available on here.

Agreed. Heights is well overdue for more land.

What would be the point of that? Even as a premium player I wouldn't do that.

And this is for the OP. They add a new strip of land every event now. Granted more land is always welcome, but it's not as bad as it used to be. Just bare with them. More land will come soon.

I would be happy if Springfield Heights was the same width as main Springfield.

It would be nice if we had a Shelbyville event, with a new section opening on the North side of the Springfield Heights mountains.

Hell, KrustyLand hasn't been used for a long time. Just move that entire park to Springfield and we could occupy unused park space.

I've thought they should do that for a while. Even the game itself makes fun of how neglected KL is, but the only real problem it has is that its stuck in its own separate area. If it was on the main map without needing to travel to and from its location it would be fine. We have Springfield Heights on one side, Squidport on another. If Krusty Land got the same treatment and got one of the other 2 sides or even an additional out on the other side of Springfield heights location it would be fine.

As someone who has been playing since Day 1, and is a completist who has 1 of everything released (or more for things like trees, fences, and certain other decorations), I think they're releasing new land at an acceptable pace. I still have 2 strips worth open on the right side (east side, as the water is to the south based on maps of Springfield seen online), and multiple spots spread across two where I can insert buildings and decorations. I probably have 3-4 strips worth of open land altogether.

If you're out of land, it may be due to house farming, or large lakes or forest areas, or just multiples of the same building taking up space, at which point you're likely close to the item limit anyway.

I don't know. To each their own, but there's plenty of land, and as said every recent event seems to offer a new strip. Both the Casino event and Superhero 2 events opened a new strip of land each.

That said I am looking forward to them opening more land in Springfield Heights so I can move a few more buildings there.

Might not be a popular opinion [...]
Hopefully not. I think that the strips should stay as one of our uses for Money. Some other things might be more appropriate for a donut early-release. You can spend way more donuts on the event track prizes than they're worth if you'd like. Some people apparently do. Maybe there's some other features that people could have their hand at first, maybe beta style.
Here is my signature. Or maybe it's not.
