Zoomed in game play

sometimes mine zooms in for no reason and I just pinch the screen and zoom back out. Does that work for you?

If you're using a Samsung device, there have been issues where they alter the resolution automatically. You can fix it by downloading the Samsung Game Tuner app and setting it to run your games (or Tapped Out specifically) at Maximum quality.

Apparently that's only for phones. It's incompatible with my tablet.

Is it just me or is the default view of the game more zoomed in now? I can see less of my town now and it is quite annoying when it comes to tapping houses and designing my town.

I had that issue with my old Nexus 7 tablet. I think its related to the devices DPI setting...

I noticed on my Galaxy SIII that I can zoom out alot more than I can on my S4. Thanks for the tip on the tuner download.

Worked for me! Thank you so much for the tip. Really fast fix for a super annoying problem. Much appreciated. Gonna use it for other games as well.

My samsung does this to. I can tell from the start screen how zoomed out it will be by the size of the spinning donut. If it is to big i just wait till i get in the game, than reboot my phone and it usually corrects the problem. Sometimes i reboot again to fix it.

I tried the game tuner but that didn't change anything. Prior to the Sci Fi update it was fine. Any other tactics

I just pinch mine out and that works fine, no idea why it sometimes zooms in. What would be really nice is if there was a button or way to see a screen shot of the whole town (not playable, just viewable) at one time. It would make it a bit easier when redesigning the town
