Struggling a bit

I just got the Duff sign today.
It seems slow but there is still 10 plus days to get the first 5 prizes.
I did buy the burns robot deal, so it helps a bit. And I already had Grimey.
Check the calendar posted by LPN on this forum to see if you're on schedule.

Hey love.... So I have 8900 dark matter. I do have grimes and the Epcot center and the black hole. I just make sure I'm always around after those 4 hours. And I also visit my friends.

Cheers guys, so looks like I am a few thousand of so far, I got Grimsby today, the people who only get on once or twice a day are really going to struggle with this one

According to the calendar, you should be at 5500 at the end of today to be on track. You have to get 1850 a day. It definitely seems like slow going since we are so limited on who can get event currency.

It's not how many times you log in, it's how soon you can log in after 4 hours from your last battle with those flying robots. If you have Frank Grimes, he will help a little bit, and make sure you do the quest lines, Stephen Hawking, Homer, and others have 1 time tasks that will reward matter instead of cash.

Thanks for the calendar too! Extremely helpful. Can't believe I have to expand my airport area again lol need runway lights

Usually EA will start helping by sending in some extra robot parts about now for those o us who are behind.....I also have been going to my neighbors, but getting that 4 hour every 4 hours is tough...if you miss just one you are out of 100 matter
I bought the Skyberdine systems, I don't see how those 2 free characters with the building help anything, Mine are not generating any robot part or Matter....

Im so tired of seeing sorry there are no robots in your town....but you need the matter for the prizes thatbdissapear quickly, if you miss more that one 4 hour
task you r screwed guys...No Way ill get that last prize before the last day...that skinner fella

What i don't understand is at the end of each event if you haven't saved up enough, that prize is gone for ever, why don't they at least let you buy the item with the donuts.....seems weird???

Is it just me or are there fewer robots spawning?

When you activate the SciFighter does it somehow stop the spawning? Previous events had a regularly spawning creature, but it doesn't seem to be the case with this one.

No, when you start the game it will zap all the robots in your town for you. After that the Robots spawn at their usual rate of one in three minutes.

During each act you are usually given the opportunity to purchase the prizes for donuts, as you go along collecting the crafting /required currency the donut price drops accordingly so if you are going to be short of the currency needed just keep collecting until the act has almost ended then purchase for the minimum donut cost, but only if you want said item, oh and most likely the item will turn up at some point for sale again as most stuff tends to.

1. Set alarm to visit every four hours to restart the Alternate Homers and clear the robots. That's six times a day max.

2. Use the calendar to track your daily progress.

This is pretty much the routine for every event now, for months and months. It's pretty simple if you set the alarms. Takes all of three minutes if you ignore collecting taxes and other activities.

And, I'm certain its not necessary to do it 6x daily, so if you do temporarily you'll get caught up quickly.
Play smarter, not harder.

It's hard, but this morning I did get 1100 dark matter from the Daily Challenge. Tapping 1100 robots is a killer. We need more tasks like these.

One thing that threw me off a bit is the set up of the event calendar. It shows, left-to-right, Monday-through-Sunday, rather than what I'm used to, which is a calendar designed left-to-right with Sunday-through-Saturday.

I thought I was one day behind, because I was assuming that the far right column was Saturday (today) ... Here's the calendar I'm talking about:

Do you see what I mean?

north american calendars start on sunday. I'm not sure of all places that use mon-sat but have seen it a fair bit and think it's common in for countries in europe, asia, africa ?

Almost every other calendar i've ever seen.
Must be a CA thing as every calendar i see here starts with sunday and ends with saturday, even on my phone.

Tip:
Robo Burns and the main events questline will sometimes allow other characters to have tasks that generated event currency, if you really want a little bonus DONT complete the questline, the task should still be available and hopefully still generate event currency.
