  • Just got an in game update on my Fire and Halloween is working for me now.
  • Ok guys so I saw this on an ea answers thread and it worked for me. Turn off your device's wifi in your settings, then open Tapped Out. For me this triggered an in-game download and then I finally had the quests triggered and the orange trees, etc. even after hard closing the app, turning my wifi back on, and starting up the game again. So far so good after hours of frustration. I hope this helps you all too.
  • Yeah don't count on the support guys for help.
    Just keep going from support guy to support guy until you find one who gets it. I've had to do that a few times. Most of them follow their script and know nothing about the game. They are as useless as my Internet provider's support line. The support guys are probably outsourced minimum wage people who don't even own a mobile device.

    The last time I had contacted support was the bug where donuts disappeared randomly. I started a support chat 5 or 6 times in 3 days. A few told me "we have to restore your account from a backup" and eventually one guy told me "oh yeah this is happening to many people, how many donuts did you lose?" and I told him, and he gave them to me right there and then.

    It's a lottery.
  • Tried the turning off wifi and loading.. still no ingame updating..unfortunately didn't work for me...this is so damn frustrating

  • Got the same problem on my iPad - as soon as I try to store something the game crashes. Plus got the
    THOH startup screen but it doesn't start any new content.

    How does a download start if WiFi is off? I just get the error screen for no connection

    This didn't do anything at all except use up mobile data in the game...
    Tried with both wifi and mobile data off... and it just did the bart screen thing. Turned back on, and back to the non-event game.
  • Turning off wifi didn't do anything for me either. This is just a **** show!!

    I actually uninstalled and reinstalled 5 times and this finally solved the problem. I am using an android device. Strange that turning of my WiFi is all it took!

  • I just got an in game update on my android device. All is working as it should be now.
  • How did you get the in game update.. I have tried everything...
  • I went to the google play store and manually did it
  • I'm having the same issue :( turning wifi off didn't help, uninstalling now :(

  • I just updated and everthing works, the in game update started automatically...
  • I went into Settings, hit Clear Data for TSTO. Started the app up, downloaded the game and now I'm in!
