Neighbors Film Count at Zero Glitch?

I was checking neighbors with zero film counts while thinning the herd. I found some were playing the event, and were actually ahead of me. I'm glad I checked in or I would have cut them by mistake.

  • Could it be visuals created by the game?
  • I don't know. I saw a neighbor who I know had visited me during the event, and their counter was now at zero. So I checked and they were very active. Checked a few others and found another. Just would hate to see people cut because of this..

  • I think it must be a glitch, because I thought one of my neighbours was probably away who still had zero film. But then discovered that the neighbour had left 3 cameras recordings on my buildings and when I checked again the neighbour still had zero film.

  • I saw it in my game too. I cleared out about 40 neighbours last week and I always check the last visit before deleting. Some Springfilds had zero Films although were visited an hour ago.
  • Definite glitch, it's been happening regularly during the last events.
  • I check last visit dates, if it's more than 20 weeks I clear them. Some of my neighbors I've had for over 2 years and it looks like they just quit the game, kinda sad.

I just had a major clean out and did the same. For me, if they haven't played since before the beginning of the last event I'm reasonably sure they won't be back. I'm glad you weren't one of those! ;)

I've noticed that the counter hasn't been accurate in the past several events. It's unclear what the purpose of the counter is if it doesn't accurately reflect activity.
  • This zero glitch is happening to me (and my other 2 towns). I got a PM from a neighbor who told me about seeing this as she scrolled through her neighbors list. She could clearly see when she visited that I was playing but not according to the counter. Sure enough, when I looked at my neighbors list my 2 other towns showed up as zero.

I am glad I am not the only one seeing this. Other then the fact that on the "outside" it appears that I am not playing the event (also shows a zero if you look for SH totals), however, inside my 3 towns I am not having any problems what so ever (knock wood).

I did a uninstall/reinstall thinking that might help but it didn't. I play each of my town on 3 different devices (all iOS), so I don't think that is the problem. No issue with husband's town, so can't blame our wifi

Hopefully, all my neighbors can see that I am visiting and am progressing and won't delete me based on the zero totals on the counter.
  • Speaking of neighbor glitches, anyone get notifications that a neighbor has visited 3-5 times a day? This a glitch or a hacked game? Its only one neighbor that i get notifications that they are visiting this many times a day

I'm pretty sure it's a glitch. One day, according to the notification, the same neighbour's name came up multiple times when in reality they had just visited once.

I think the notification was using their name every time someone visited regardless of who they were. :)
