So it would take you over a month if you bought nothing else to save up for the Popsicle skyscraper....

if i had $0, then yes.

someone who had the lvl26 update made a screenshot and there you saw a price drop for the tower down to $1mill.

i guess ea wanted to give those really rich tapped-outers something expensive to buy

EA isn't forcing anyone to buy the buildings that are priced in the millions, they aren't limited and they aren't required for any missions. Clearly, the glitch shouldn't have existed and for the small percentage of people playing tapped out who: 1. knew about the bonus and 2. exploited it on a daily basis, then they clearly have already benefited from it by either having the ability to buy tons of land or save up to brag about how much money you have.

I'm confused that people want a known cheat to exist in the game and expect EA to leave it alone. I don't use the bonus but I've never had an issue with collecting money, I've continued to expand my town as it grows and it continues to funnel money into my account.

I know its gonna take a long time to acquire both buildings, but (wait for it), isn't that what we keep asking for? Tasks/buildings that might actually force us to play the game till the next update? Not just items that we all acquire in the first week and them have three of nothing.

What a bunch of senseless crybabying. EA put these items at extravagant prices to level the playing field, knowing the mult-millionaires will run out and spend. The price of these items will surely drop to reasonable levels in time. I expect the magnifying glass to be similarly priced and then drop as it will further bleed the multi-millionaires. No need for the Chicken Little act. Patience.

I earn about $60k a day, without a house farm, without the friends bonus glitch and without putting everyone on one hour tasks 20 times a day (Generally my tasks will be 4-4-4-8). I earn that money just be regular playing. So anyone can earn the money for the two overpriced buildings in about a month and a half, just from normal playing.

Theose building are deliverately very overpriced and pointless. Thats the whole idea of them.

People complain that they don't have anything to spend the money and / or the game has got boring. EA do something to solve that and people still complain because the buildings are too expensive. Go figure.

The friend glitch should have never been in the game in the first place so complaining about that is like complaining that a bank managed to fix a faulty ATM that was giving out extra cash. It was a mistake, you benefitted from it, they stopped it from happending, get over it.

Its not that hard to gather that money. It takes some time but I hover around $2 million without much effort. Not everything will be handed to you.

I had almost 3 mill but started redoing my town and went down to 2.3 and put everything at 24 hrs and was bored. I added the popstick tower because I didn't see the escalator. But it has gotten me to play every hour to try to make money and almost to .5 mill so 1 mill to go before I buy the escalator just so I have extra money just in case of a sweet update.

And why should they bleed ? I had 2.5m without using the friends glitch. So It is possible as a daily player to be a millonair

I never used the friends glitch either. It was just so dull. And I still managed to get 1,6 million.
It seems reasonable that they give out more heavy priced buildings for those who reached the highest level and own houses and shops that generate all this money.

Perhaps it's a conspiracy to limit land expansion.

Or maybe it's just really expensive, completely unnecessary, things to purchase.

Three buildings for free (basically), and two buildings, completely unnecessary, cost far beyond what anybody should pay (like the monorail).

If the monorail was cheap then everybody would buy it. But if it were expensive, the only the people of Springfield would spend every cent they have to get it.

Some of you guys don't get humor, right?

Or did it ruin the joke when I explained it to you?o

Or do I need to explain the joke again?

    Wait. Something was said...

Hey, where'd that last crayon go?

First off its not hard to make money on the game without using a cheat. Second the escalator and Popsicle stick skyscraper are so overpriced because of the Simpsons episode where all of Springfield votes to use their excess money on buying a monorail instead of fixing the potholes on the Main Street of Springfield which turns out to be a scam in the end and they guy runs off with the money before the monorail is finished. And then they list off other things that Springfield wasted their money on like "the escalator to nowhere" and you see people riding it way into the air then falling off the top. It's meant as a joke/novelty/vanity item if you have the money to buy it and want to waste money on it go ahead but you don't have to and it's not a limited item so it will always be there.

I once tried It. I was Busy going in and out of a friends town for 20 min and than the game crashed first and last try.
