PSA: Last day for act 1

The last day for Act 1 are here! Hurry up and finish it before the timer runs out! Also the last 24 hours for The Island of Dr. Hibbert, Hellementary School, Battle Dome, and for starting Glucose Games (the Treehouse of Horror XXVII Episode Tie-In) are here!

Don't know if this has been asked yet but is anyone hoarding their monsters? I think I read somewhere we can have up to 40!? Would it help to accumulate them for tomorrow to get a head start or will there be new monsters?

I'm already saving my daily challenges just in case. Anyone else doing some preping?

I think you can only have 10 at a time. At least that's what it looks like in my town

i dont think it makes a huge difference if you hoard or not, as i think most people end up finishing the acts early anyway (or else wouldnt be hoarding lol). if you are hoarding, i think they way to do it would be save up some monsters to fight and hold off on upping your MAG level if the reward for the next level is event currency. i guess if you have a daily task for event currency you can save it too ( i think it will switch over)

I'm not hoarding, but I will be doing a little "preloading". I finished early yesterday with minimal trouble. But, according to LPN's calendar over on topix, we needed 3408 a day in act 1 and 4724 a day in act 2. Getting a jump start on act 2 will put us less at the mercy of the number of characters required per battle. I'm assuming we're going to see some 3 character battles in act 2 to get more points. But, they are probably going to be random.

I'm currently hoarding 10 monsters, the 2x fighter kind! Plus three daily challenges for event currency

Should I spend all my Obols before Act II starts or save them? Not sure if that currency will exist in Act II?

Obols carry through the whole event so entirely your choice if you want to save or spend.

Look at the MAG rewards, the obols are thru out the entire event.

Well. I'm up to 8 monsters now. 10 does seem like a reasonable number but does a message come up? Good idea to keep the 2x monsters though!

I'm hoarding obels since they probably definitely carry over and I got film next - just hope they don't change the mag.

Bring on Act 2. I'm so looking forward to the last prize!

Just got my bonus donuts for collecting film, so now i am hoarding for next act. I am not clicking any of the buildings that has the camera icons, hoarding the monsters and flying rats, and not clicking any neighbors till act 2 hits. I am still sending kids out to trick or treat because of the obel coins that they get. Can't wait for act 2!

Already got at least 4 rounds of bonuts, should be able to do a fifth by tonight so no need to hoard. Actually no need to ever hoard! EA makes these events so easy.

I want to add that i only hoard because i hate seeing the event currency go to waste when its soooo close to reaching bonus donuts. It happened to me a few times where i was only a few hundred away from reaching last round of bonuts. So now if i know i can't reach another round of bonuts, i start hoarding for the next act.
