You can be **** about it all you want...but in my case I can visit 2-3 towns before the game crashes. This has been an issues for months. Yes in a perfect world I'd breeze through all 100 neighbors like the old days. But instead I deleted them all and put my name back in the thread so that I could have a smaller list of neighbors and therefore hopefully deal with the crashes and still get to people. Are you really so petty that you're paying attention to who is and isn't visiting your town? Get over it.

I want to visit all my friends. But the game is so unstable, that it crashes on around 25% of my friends. I have friends towns I seriously struggle to get into... I've dropped some of them already, but not because I want to. Some of their towns are seriously awesome, and I would hate to miss out on seeing them as they evolve.
The boredom of going through 100 neighbors is the main reason I don't mind having fewer now. I was full up in the beginning, but once I got all my FPs there was less and less reason to go back (especially since my old device constantly crashed on multiple friend visits). Plus, for events you really only need 30 or so to get all the event currency you're allowed.
I've whittled down bit-by-bit as people become inactive, and love my limited list. Now as long as I have enough for events, all I care about is people with interesting towns.
Other people feel differently. No need to complain. Just build a friend list that suits you, and accept that other people want different things.
@jjluv1500 I was looking at the Add Me thread and there were a lot people that said they play daily even hourly, but few actually said they play AND visit daily. If anyone wants a specific type of player, visits daily -likes to keep their town in order etc, they should put down their requirements clearly.

It takes me over an hour to visit all my friends because the load time take so long.
I like to get through my list as often as I can, but I might not have the time to do so every day.
When people say they play daily it does not translate to visiting everyone daily. I was quite specific in the past saying I only want friends that can visit daily esp during events. This doesn't work too. As someone put it, just need to take time to weed out players not playing in the way you like.
This one time, I realized a neighbor of mine deleted me and I cried for days! I still haven't forgiven myself for being a bad neighbor. And my family still won't let me have anything sharp without supervision. Let this be a lesson to all the cheaters out there. Don't cheat like me!
What you could do is make it very clear what you expect from your neighbors when you add your name. "YOU MUST VISIT MY TOWN EVERYDAY! OR YOU'RE TOAST! " Depending on how long people have been playing, people need different levels of help from neighbors.
Make Nightmare Pile like Zombie Sandwich. All kids trick or treat at once.

Btw I don't hold any grudges against neighbors that don't visit. As long as you played the he game in the last 3 months (when I even bother to check) I won't delete you. I like checking out the designs in neighbors towns.
I visit my neighbours most days probably 6 of the 7 days in the week. I have a few spaces too as I've just got rid of my non players Drop an invite if interested.

It's fun to visit neighbors and to see new designs, but neighbor visits almost seem irrelevant at this point, from the viewpoint of the person being visited.
One of those winged ROUSes drops 20 game currency, while three neighbor visits received will net a mere 3. Visiting a neighbor will give you 15 currency, depending whether or not you bought that "license" thing. The dynamic of the game is structured in the favor of the player, not the neighbor.
Long story short based on numbers/math: If a person wants to be a "good" neighbor, make sure you have plenty of items for your neighbors to tap. Don't worry so much about receiving visits.

I care far less about people visiting me (especially in non-events) than having stuff to tap on when I take the time to go to their towns. A few bucks of whatever currency is always nice, but I care a lot more about not wasting my time. That means neighbors having stuff to tap on, and/or at least having at least a somewhat designed town.
In fact, I generally go out of my way to make sure there's lots of tap-able items near my LZ for just that purpose (snake rocks behind buildings and stuff). That way my neighbors can get in and out fast if they want, or explore if they want that too.
I try to be a good neighbor too! I usually try to visit everybody as soon as the timer permits. It's not a burden for me because I always tap it while watching TV/Netflix or in another break.
I also like that in this event there is an incentive to visit others besides the donut thing (yesterday I got 5 donuts while visiting neighbors, which is great for me!), because every event currency we get is welcome, and useful for possible bonuts.
