A few days ago I got 2 donuts from the same neighbor in my #3 game... Then got 2 donuts from the same neighbor in my #1 game (different neighbors btw). I was flabbergasted.

Once I got 3 donuts from the same neighbor. I will never drop them because of that. Not sure if I have ever received anymore from them but I still consider them my lucky neighbor.

I have a theory about this:

During events, there are sometimes neighbor taps that do not produce Friend Points (like dropping Prospectors, I think). If your very first neighbor tap after signing in does not give FP, (or wouldn’t if you were below max FP), you won’t be able to get any donuts from any neighbor visits, ever. So, fix it by logging out, logging back in, and making sure your first neighbor tap would produce FP. Only the very first neighbor tap in the very first neighbor town matters.

I’ve gone weeks of visiting 100 neighbors everyday (while at max FP) without getting a single neighbor donut. After experimenting with it, this is the best theory I can think of.

So the moral of the story is, if you go more than a few hundred neighbor visits without getting a donut, log out and back in.

I rarely get donuts for neighbors. But I have found 3 so far since this event over about as many day. Very unusual. But I'm not complaining!

I was until I got 2 donuts from 2 towns. Then I was flabbergasted. It took me a few minutes to become wadebear again. You didn't notice because you're not my neighbor in that game, you're my neighbor in my #3 game.
