I'm Dutch and you and I both know Stonehenge has no pentagram. The first prize is a goat god. It is commonly used by certain Metal bands and Alistair Crowley followers. What in the world has this got to do with Christmas or Paganism?

Some abbreviations are coming up as swears. I don't get it, if you add a swear to some of the blotted out words... they don't make sense.

The new forum's built in censor would even block some of what Ned Flanders says. I know I've had a few moderate exclamations censored where it looked like I was cursing much more than I was (especially since I wasn't even cursing in most cases).

Anyway, I am having fun. Spent only 150 donuts but like the frozen car and big tree. Added like 5% to my multiplier. Why not? Donuts are easy to come by now-a-days.

THOH 2015 was awesome imo, multiple nightmare to craft different currencies, wailing walls were craftable.
every event you have people who like and dislike it, not everybody has same tastes. the more unique thing this year was the fact people could "hate" and update just minutes after the release without even giving it a chance.

By rights the people who could genuinely take offence are those who practice any of those faiths owing to the cartoonish mismash, and you certainly can't blanket it all as "satanism".

And I am not the one saying paganism is equal to Satanism. But to use a pentagram (point down, not up defining luck) and a goat statue are Satanic in my view. I just find this update is bad taste on the side of EA, whatever your belief. Period. I'm done!
I agree, this is ****. They turned the terrible grinding of Monorail tracks into a "holiday" update. This is re-hashing on the lowest scale. The people who haphazardly threw this together deserve to have the shame bell follow them around for the entire month of December.
I was one of those people who hated it minutes after the update. I have zero issue with the paganism aspect, and I was wrong to claim it as a holiday update. People are right this is a winter update not Christmas. What I don't understand is how much time is actually needed to see this is re-hashing. What exactly makes me want to see where the story line goes and maybe 2 days from now it'll get better..... It's clear from the start they are giving you generic prizes from past events that they couldn't sell for donuts, or mushrooms, mushrooms are new. How many days do I have to wait to know I couldn't care less about these "prizes". The other issue I have is it's the same model they keep throwing out. There is no originality and having your main characters be the crafters, forcing you to forgo their holiday/Christmas tasks. How many days did I need to figure out Homer can't do his (santas village) tasks if he's making catnip?

The Pagan theme isn't strong enough as a main storyline. It's too niche and alienates the mainstream players. I don't think they've been lazy just creatively burnt out, only so many times you can do Christmas with an original theme.

This is the first event that I'm really going to ignore. There's a couple of things that look interesting enough to grind for, but most of it looks worthless. I'll go back to grinding the monorail tracks. Got 3 straight pieces this week after completing everything. Sheesh.
Ok guys, calm down, after playing this event for 2 days now, I can confirm that I hate it too. Yup, worst event ever. First the prizes are mostly a variation of the Clash of Champions event we had, which was also a bad event, but still playable and new and fresh. I didn't complain about that event or any other event in the past. This one has caused me to come out of hibernation and complain. There are only 2 acts, lol and most of the prizes are gems to craft crappy items. Worst event ever. BLAH!
In my main account, I just sent homer flying the sleigh and every else I could got a Christmas task. With the exception of anyone that could boycott like Marge!!! Hahaha.
At least this way my neighbors can taken in some of the previous Christmas spirit. If I never comeback... there it will be.
