After all the complaints about the winter event it's not a surprise that they didn't release a most wanted item.

I was just thinking the same thing. And it's still going on. Yesterday when I logged into the Forum almost every thread in GD was a complaint(with the exception of all the spamming) and some were quite rude.
Although I'm disappointed that they didn't release the Grumple, EA was very accommodating by unbundling items, making some quick fixes in the game and also releasing some other items that we asked for...like the Ice Castle. And now someone's having to work during Holiday to free us from a spammer on our Forum, so it might be a good time to give thanks

Yep. Clearly a case of ****-for-tat retaliation. It’s abundantly clear to me that @bluntcard is to blame for EA’s refusal to release the Grumple.
