It would have been right away if it weren't for billing issues, which was on a Friday, so technically 3 days, otherwise within a day.

I started playing at the beginning (feb 2012) and spent 20$. Then, it started beeing unstable and my town was reset. I promised myself I wouldnt buy anything until it was fixed.

Later, I bought a boatload of donuts. This game is worth it for me. The number of hours I play by day (or that I spend on this forum) is incredible :-)

I started playing in the middle of the Halloween event. Still haven't spent any money. I have been very tempted at times, especially when I got a 10$ iTunes gift card for Christmas. But when I started pricing things out I realized that donuts don't go very far, and 10 bucks hardly gets you anything. I am having fun without spending money, not sure that having a few extra items would enhance my experience much if at all anyway.

Ive been playing since late Nov. I bought donuts the second my hubby bought Fifa points. If he's wasting his money on animated characters, why can't I?

Lol he normally spends money on Fifa every month so I pouted (and other things ;)) and bam I get a £13.99 a month allowance but I only did it twice as i managed to get my sister to give me a £50 iTunes voucher at Christmas. Those donuts are running low now though so the second I see something worth purchasing back to the hubby I go and yes I will claim for the months I haven't resorted to his wallet lol.

I started playing on Christmas Day and caved a few days later and bought 300, but there was some sort of glitch where they all disappeared, so I got a refund from Apple and vowed never to waste my money again as I had already felt guilty enough the first time.

Managed to last about a week before I bought double the amount I originally had set out to buy, and another 360 since then too.

Honestly never thought I'd spend money on a free to play game as I usually detest that sort of thing. Obviously the Simpsons was just too tempting for me.

Witholding wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the lame excuses. Can't tell you how many time I heard "I don't want to, I don't even know you"...

Technically I haven't caved, but my husband took my iPad and bought donuts for me after the Halloween update - I'm not 100% sure when I started playing but I don't think it was long before then, maybe a month or so. I was tempted to get the ray gun but I got Frink's Lab instead :D

I laughed at the price of donuts and thought people would be stupid to pay so much money for a free game. But then after playing for a couple of months, I remembered that I am actually quite stupid so gladly paid up. I probably would have only blown the cash on beer anyway so no regrets here!

I've been playing since the very beginning, and I didn't buy at first since they had taken the game out of the App Store. After it came back and seemed to be stabilizing (and they were updating it--woo-hoo) I gave in and bought just a few. When the Christmas sale came out though, I couldn't resist using some of a gift card to buy some more. I rationalized it this way--I pay at least $30 to Nintendo for the Mario games, which I love, and actually play this more, so I could at least spend as much as a 3DS game :-)

I've been playing since the beginning, before it was pulled from the app store. I've only purchased donuts once, at Halloween when they make Kang cheaper. Before that I had told myself I wouldn't after I had built my Springfield up and earned hundreds of donuts from mystery boxes while the game was pulled from the store (I seemed to have some glitch where every mystery box was 10 donuts) and then my town was one of the ones that I couldn't play for almost a month and then they reset it back a few levels and I lost all my premium items, all my donuts *plus* I didn't get the free 40 donuts they said they gave everyone for the issues, but when Kang came around and the game was being more stable I caved.

Been playing since it came out. I think I started buying donuts shortly after the alien appeared. I didn't buy the laser, but it wasn't long after that that I bought my first $20 worth of donuts. Now every month I spend $20. Buying mainly buildings with characters or just characters. They earn more money since I can keep them on task. I did buy the ambulance, mountain (first donut purchase) and a couple other things but the characters is what I want most. Considering this is the only game I play I figure why not. My other half and children have ps3's and many many games. It's time momma had a game she likes to play!

Now if I could just find someone to clean, cook, and do laundry so I have more time to play........any takers? Bwahahah

Ps add me if you'd like, looking for a few more neighbors that are not farmers and take pride in their design. Plz only add if you do.
