Where has it been said that the Valentine's update is 2 parts?

It is reasonable evidence, due to lack of stuff such a decorations, yet hundreds of hearts gained.

EA never really perfected the few seasonal updates.

Click the info button on any current valentine item. It says Pt. 1. The speculation is why call it Pt. 1, if not followed by other parts?

I have just finished the quest with homer and marge are at sir putt a lot and that is pt.14

All the items say pt1.
Unless part 2 is next year, there updating it soon with more items.

That is because part one is when you gain access to them. It goes up to part fourteen. Every item tells you the quest you need to unlock them.

My guess is nothing is going to happen. Spend your hearts on the plants and stuff, cuz that is all you are going to get. They aren't giving donuts away like they did at Christmas. It would set a bad precedent.

People have already found the files in the update for Ralph and wiggum house etc

But yes, this doesn't mean it'll be part of Valentines, personally,
I think it is.

Exactly this. It is just a task. Halloween had similar and so did Christmas. There is no part 2.

It suggests that it will be a regular, monthly level update and will happen sometime this month.

I think part of the reason EA made the donuts available at the end of the Christmas update was to make up for the huge crash when everyone was off line for a few days during the Christmas coin collection period.

I dont see a second update for Valentines Day happening. I dont think were going to get Ralph until the Valentines Day event is over on the 28th.

So the question is: with likely around 2000+ hearts by the 28th, blow them all and store mass amounts of heart trees, or cross your fingers and hope you get something (donuts, cash?) on the 1st of march.

Be glad your valentines day doesn't include Ralph! All he has done for me is lock me out of the game and result in me losing the ability to get any valentines items.

Agreed. This is the correct answer. All other answers are foolish in comparison. There's no need for a part 2 answer as part 1 says it all

Why is it still being discussed? Dromstul quite clearly put this one to bed.

except they did it at halloween too.

no guarantees, but i recommend saving as many hearts as possible once you've purchased all the valentine's items you care to display in your town, just in case. unlike some of the other similar games, rather than having a sale every other week on donuts, tapped out players get rewarded for playing frequently and being severely social lol
