Chinese Wall Glitch?

I was wondering if anyone else is having a problem with crafting the walls? When I am crafting them, they are always the same. It doesn't matter which one I choose, when It's time to collect I tap it, it goes into inventory and when I place it, it is the same no matter what.

Is anyone else having this problem?

I've made a bunch of them and haven't had this problem (yet) I hope they fix it for you guys. If they are all the same, they won't line up right, will they?

Yes there are 2 different types of wall, one that runs across the land and one that goes up/down, I'm getting 2 different types of wall myself when I make them hopefully they'll release a fix for those who are only getting the same type, wonder if this issue is device specific I'm on Android and it seems to be working fine, for those who are having problems with the walls what type of devices are you using?

Did you have already a piece of wall in the inventory? Because I had. Maybe that's why they are the same. Can't test the theory right know, because I'm making a tower.

I don't have this issue - have successfully crafted both types, although the menu pictures aren't exactly very helpful at differentiating them; the first one I crafted turned out to be the "wrong" one compared to what I wanted & expected.

Click the tower to craft more pieces; there's no obvious limit but it takes time and $ for each piece.

I decided to try and craft another tower hoping it may reset any glitch that may be going on. I will report back if it works. I'm glad this doen't seem to be a problem that is widespread.

I thought I was having a similar problem in the beginning but I think in my case it was just pilot error. The depictions in the menu aren't super helpful and it's easy to pick the wrong piece.

I thought that myself. There are 3 crafting options. Top 1 is the tower, middle 2nd is a wall and bottom 3rd is another wall. When I noticed the problem, I made sure to select the middle 2nd first than the bottom 3rd next. I did this 3 different times. I received altogether 6 same walls.

I'm just collecting the corner pieces right now. I'm going to make a ginormous wall. Hope they get the other wall glitch fixed soon.

I think I might have solved the problem: You have to take out all of your wall pieces from your inventory and place them. Afterwards you'll collect the right piece. Just tested it and it worked fine.

When I tap the wall piece I just purchased it goes into my inventory and I place it right away before purchasing another wall piece. So should I keep what I just earned in my inventory until after I have a few wall pieces?

I think the inventory does not make a difference between the two sorts of wall pieces. So if you buy sort A and it goes into the inventory it will be converted into sort B if they are already stored there.
My theory is, if you place all of your pieces out of your inventory the game will not transform them. As I said I tried it and it worked fine. I had three pieces it didn't want. So I placed them and afterwards I collected the wall pieces. And suddenly it was the right one.
