Flu infection. What level?

Just wondering how far the flu has infected your Springfield.
Currently I'm at 521/1000 level 4.
With the world infected with Osaka Flu at 21.13%

It looks like we all have the same % of the world infected, but the infection severity is different.

I'm at 21.24% now, but only 225/300 on level 3 for severity. I did "catch" the flu later than most I think.

It goes up by collecting pins your friends leave on your buildings. Do you have plenty of friends?

I have only 46, I just cleaned my friend list.
Maybe I need more active friends and my problem is that not many of my friends visit me...

I'm at 162/200 level 2 with worldwide infection at 21.35%. I noticed that when visiting friends you stop getting pins at a certain point, and as my username starts with an "S" it's making me think that I'm not progressing as fast as I should because most of my neighbors are not even visiting me

but I don't know for sure I could be wrong too, I even got the flu on the first day

I'm at level 3 248/300. I've been making sure to cycle through all my friends so I can spread the flu around, but some of my friends aren't active, so that's probably why it's taking longer to level up

This has been an issue ever since EA started listing friends alphabetically (it used to be random - not even listed by friending date, which I would have preferred. Why can't your oldest neighbors be listed first?). Anyhow, I bravely (or stupidly) have 5 games, so for each game I visit the first 30 neighbors, next day the next 30 and so on, round and round, hoping everyone understands.

I'm only at 43/100 in Level 1. (The percentage is global, so 21.58%)

I only got the flu on Thursday night (less than 48 hours ago).

I have maybe less than two dozen active neighbors. I have no desire to add 70 random people so I guess I'm gonna miss out on this aspect of the event.
