XP glitch/error? (not of the good variety)

So I clear my town, all the money and XPs are flowing down to the bottom corner of the screen and it is taking its sweet time per usual...sometimes I just click out of my town instead of waiting. If you click into Krustyland or another screen and come back everything is cleared.

Today I clicked over the friend screen and came back. A level up bonut thing was up but my XP meter was exactly at 0.

Will have to pay more attention in future, but does clicking to the friend screen and back (or perhaps to other things like Krustyland) reset your XP level to 0 if you level up?

I highly doubt I exactly earned enough XP for a level up and stopped exactly at 0.

Edit: Confirmed by placing a bloodmobile, went to friend screen, came back. Leveled up but XP meter at exactly 0

Yeah I've seen this too. Not only that but if you have enough XP on the ground for two bonus pop ups but leave and come back, you only get one bonus box.

The only thing you can do for now is make sure all is collected before leaving

I think if you just leave the game you dont miss out (will have to test). I think it mostly happens if you go to friends and possibly Krustyland.

I haven't had an issue when I leave the game. I come back and there is money and XP everywhere that continues to collect.

I have this problem often. When I clear my town it can take over an hour to clear, the game often crashes in this time and when I come back in I usually only get one bonut box and start with 0xp on the bar. I've also had it do this to me a couple of times when I've been buying rat trap trucks and the game has dropped me before I've collected all the donuts.

This is normal, and it's been around for a long time. You will still get the cash you are entitled to that was already tapped, but the XP bar can only be cleared once, when you go to visit your neighbors or krustyland. If you think that is bad, imagine placing 50 rat trap trucks, clearing 2 bonuts rounds, and then getting the Bart Simpson screen saying the game lost connection to the EA server. In that situation, you will only get 2 bonuts rounds when you return, all the other remaining bonuts are gone.

The trick to dealing with lost XP is to tap enough buildings or characters to clear the current XP bar and 1/2 of the next XP bar, visit the neighbors screen, go back to your town, and repeat.
