Norbert's plane bug

I logged in this morning and my tasks for Norbert's red plane were gone. When I validated this night's tasks I just got the general pins? I tried going over to Krusty Land and my friends, but the plane is nowhere? Anyone else experiencing this?

  • Same Problem... any help?
  • I got the same problem I don't know what to do.
  • Same. :(. Appreciate any help.
    Please PM first.
  • Yep, the last time I logged on, I was heading towards Norbert's plane - I think I got 750 pins when the last flight landed. Now I'm starting again on a 500 pin flight, towards a lost luggage prize. I've got all the lost luggage prizes.
  • Same thing here. All the gains from yesterday have reset. What's up with this? Any ideas?

Think there's been some sort of bug, last two days I've logged in as soon as it starts the three daily tasks, it then pops up with a message saying they have been done for the day, therefore I assume that they're resetting regardless at 8am GMT, if you're lucky and you still managed to get all three tasks done in a day, then it seems fine, but if you've left anything overnight and the system has reset, it seems lost... hopefully the developers will be able to sort this.. perhaps contacting EA direct or a post in the Technical Issues(EDIT Bugs and Issues*) section of the forum might help ..

  • I wasn't able to even get Norbert's plane due to airport wonkyness, so this is sadisticly satisfying that its bugged :P

Ok. So I'm not alone in this. :(
  • Hope they fix this soon, not a lot of event left and theres some tasks to complete to get the golden train!
  • Yep. Same issue. What a shame so close to the end of this buggy update.
  • I don't know about this one guys, but there is a bug involving Grandpa and Akira with the first task after you get the plane. The only things I can suggest is try storing the Retirement Castle and then return it and maybe that will restore the quest. Otherwise you can hope for a patch or contact EA.2mxejr8.jpg
This is what you should be seeing in Norbert's task menu.

  • If memory serves me, after you get Norbert's plane there's a 3hr and a 1 hr to get the train, so it goes pretty quick.

I got this first time today, but it didn't seem to affect anything, just a little weird.

    We'll see what happens.

Like I said, I had it yesterday but manage to complete all the tasks and get the plane, but it seems that people who left the task overnight have had a problem with it resetting the three tasks the next day, had it again this morning but it's for the lost luggage with the sky credits now until the event ends, so I guess if you complete the three tasks before the refresh timer at the bottom runs out, you'll be alright :)
  • As a long time plyer, I have seen several "bugs." This one is particularly annoying. I had the last flight to get Norbert's plane. When I freed the travelers, it reset my Adventure Tasks but gave me the Travel Bonus icon as if I had finished the quest. I tried several suggestions from you all and nothing gave me the plane that I already earned.
  • Quick update.. I continued the quests, and after the "first" of the day "woodstock" finished, I got uncle norbert and the plane.... so maybe it is recovering on its own when you continue the tasks/flights.
  • I am also missing Norbert's plane, my tasks say a new luggage prize is the only thing available... I don't know what to do. :(

Glad this worked for you. Unfortunately, no luck here.

Continue sending people on flights and it will even out. It seems to fix itself.

Same problem happening in my wife's town. Actually had two different tasks depending upon whether she goes through Norbert's tasks or through airport dialogue box. Has seemed a bit glitchy from the beginning. Not sure she was always getting the pins she was supposed to be getting in Act 3.
