I haven't seen this suggestion in this thread- I'd love to have 4-direction rotation for things like fences, so you could actually have corners meet up and also go up against sidewalks. And I've wanted standalone sidewalks and different street and pavement sizes forever.

I want sand. Seriously. Lanw chairs and volleyball nets look ridiculous on pavement or grass. Just sayin'.

As many above said curved rivers would be good, a bridge for the pavement would be great.
Dirt road would be good to.
It would be nice if they brought back the snow as a texture, i would like to have a small snow
area in the corner of my town.

    EXCELLENT suggestion!

I'd also like that (or have fences sit ON the grid line and not take up a space on either side. Either would be great, IMHO.

I would like at least dirt path/cement in a 2*2 option to make paths.. Sometimes a full tile is just too much..

    Sand!

Yes! With a land expansion to the ocean. I can see it now, beach front property, boardwalks, ect.

I agree with the 4 rotation option, my fences just like dumb with them.

    I voted for yes.
Would be cool and a bit more convenient if we can get different pavement/road sizes and designs.

:D yeah I actually came up with the idea when I placed the volleyboll net. Was like... we need sand! :)

And I mean the ground makes a lot of difference so its quite important if you want a good looking town.
