This forum is not to be taken too seriously. If there was an argument just let it go. I don't know what happened but a game forum should not cause stress. I come here for fun more than anything

The problem is the amount of meanness that has been happening in the forums. And alot of it is coming from forum regulars. It's getting way out of hand.

I was so sorry to read this, I will miss your amazing humor and just you being you, as you have always been a bright shining beacon of joy no matter how dark the forum became. I hope you find your balance soon and know that so many people will be right here waiting for you when you are ready. You need to do what is best for you, if you are happy-that is good enough for me, even though it is our loss.

I have to admit. This thread made me very sad. Nettangel, you were one of the people that made me go from a lurker on the forum, to a poster (you and several others). You were always very helpful and nice to those of us who were "new" and not overly experienced in forums. While we weren't "friends" in the game, I always enjoyed the info and banter you did on the forum.

If you in fact leave, I hope you return, the TSTO forum will not be the same without you.

For all you have done, thank you! I only hope one day to be as regarded as you!

Nettangel this is a very dark day for this forum to lose such a valued member such as yourself

As some have said already you brought humour and was very helpful to everyone here myself included

It really is a massive shame you are leaving this forum but i can clearly see you have your reasons, really hope you are ok and are happy in whatever you decide to do with your life

I think personally you are one of the TSTO forum legends and will be sorely missed

I agree this post definitely makes me sad. I think there has been tension in the forum and I think you illustrate a lot of this very clearly. I know since the forum to hell thread I have tried to take a longer look in the mirror to see how I can help this forum and further this forum. While I know I am not perfect I know I am trying. I hope you stick around to help lend a voice to making the forum a great place for all.

As for the hideaway thread, I think that is a catch. The uproar was to not have all of the OT stuff littering the board, it felt annoying and not conducive to a community board. The request was not to have no OT discussion, but limit it. Stuart even suggested one thread, which I said I did not think would work, but that essentially has happened. Now the complaint is the one OT thread is too exclusive. Many new people have come I the and started talking since this update began. While I do agree that there is definitely a case of regular people talking to the same people, it is not exclusive. I'm just not sure how to proceed.

I am not talking about the outright meanness that can occur, that is annoying. Actually I agree with most of what you say, but the exclusivity, I have to put part of that back on the people that do not join in and say it is an exclusive clique. Many people have joined the conversation since the update. I mean what about the add me thread for exclusive members, I bet you would not find a single member of the accused regulars on that. Anyway, I think I am rambling and repeating while trying to watch my son.

I apologize for typos or autocorrects, but my son has decided devil mode should hit now.

Bottom line I hope you stay, you are one of the best people and a long time forum person, your loss would be felt.

I have either been not seeing it or interpreting it as humor. I have a dry sense of humor and see what some consider mean as sarcasm. Sorry but in my mine of work I have to look at things this way or I'll lose my mind. I almost quit a year and a half ago before I gained a new perspective. Of course now I don't have to work on what I call as accounts from hell or the department from hell

Dear Nettangel, I am almost crying. I give my sentiments. You a very sensitive person, and I guess not to be disrespectful is your main attitude. I do hope that majority of people were like you but unfortunately not. And I also hope that you exchange e-mails with me. Having a person like you in my life (even without knowing you, talking to you face to face) is a value on my part.

I am sad to see you go. It's true this place has evolved to a different level, but I still like to think that the majority of us are helpful in other posts. Maybe I'm just blind to what's going on, but I don't feel like I have been rude or not welcoming to new posters.

It's funny because that thread a couple weeks ago about how there were so many off topic threads on here and now there is mostly game related topics and one huge off topic thread. Seems like a lose/lose situation.
