Not complaining but just mentioning what is sometimes happening here: On the same message board, some users are commenting on each thread, filling it with thousand photos with no purpose. On the same message board, some users dare to call each other stupid, silly etc., and in a way, satisfy their unsatisfied complexes. On the same message board, some users dare to 'jump' each other out of the blue because of their choice of avatars. I don't post much here, but this time I think that reactions to this thread are extremely disproportional. Let it go.
All are valid observations, and all are valid concerns. We can agree 100% on that. The question is, how do we improve it? You are not going to stop people from conversing. That's why a lot of people come here. And while some wear their post count like its a police badge, most just like talking with the community that has gathered here.
The one thing we can combat is the rudeness and harassment/name-calling. These posters should be called on the carpet, and should be summarily shunned by the message board community. By striping us of the ability to rectify the situation, Nettangel as accomplished little more than senseless martyrdom.

Well, in this case, had Nettangel (a poster I respect) come forth with the name of a poster who is causing her to leave the game, I would immediately check my neighborhood for said friend and unfriend him/her posthaste, and I hope that other mutual friends would do the same.
Here is my perspective. Our Springfields are a commodity on this forum. If you cant share your Springfield with others, and share in others Springfields, then what is the point of this game? Take that ability away from people and you might see some behavior modification (less trolling).
