And if she was storing it, why wasn't she flying while she had it stored?

No idea. I certainly don't remember her having one ever in the series. EA likes to just make stuff up instead now and then.

Don't increase the Item Limit? Then I don't play. Period.

Speaking of Maggie's balloon... I had an odd thing happen the other day. I sent Maggie on a task and she lifted up on her balloon and started floating toward the Big T Theater... Then the balloon popped and she fell to the ground and crawled the rest of the way. Is that something that just happens every now and then? A joke on EA's part?

it isn't a balloon, its a chaparone entity. it doesn't have the usual physical properties.

You can pop the balloon and she crawls instead.
All my designs look unfinished because i can't place as many plants, streetlights, and fences as i would like. PLEASE REMOVE THE LIMIT, EA!

Have to remember that when I add Maggie - I'm still working on getting Bart and then Marge.

This was discussed in a previous thread but it's an homage to the classic French film, "The Red Balloon" by Albert Lamorisse.

I literally typed in 'maggies balloon' in the search engine. :p

Things get brought up multiple times often. No big deal.

That thread's talking about the minigame, not where the balloon comes from!

You didn't read it then. It's discussed. The forum search feature is pretty decent.
